I think Sam nominated Dexter because he knows Callum doesn't like him and the not holding doors open was the best excuse he could think up at the time. If he didn't hold the door open for me, or, let it go in my face, I would mention it at the time by telling him that 'hey, thats rude' then he could give Dexter a chance to realise the error of his ways and perhaps he wouldn't do it again, obviously if he did keep doing it after being told then I would probably nominate him. I'm not quite sure why Sam didn't say something to Dexter about it if it bothered him that much.

I don't know.

He made himself look stupid by acting timid when Dexter was trying to speak to him about it. But on the other hand Dexter was annoying by trying to gain pity by saying that he's used to being on his own.

The thing that struck me was when Sam asks Dexter what was said during a conversation, he ignores Sam.

I can understand how that can be very annoying and rude.

yeah, I get what you are saying, however, I'm still swaying that he nominated him because he knows Callum dislikes Dexter.

Well lets face it - Sam has given totally pathetic excuses for everyone he has nominated - why ?
Cos he ain't got a clue as to whats really happening ! Not his fault but to stick by someone like Callum ain't helping
Callum was the worst person to listen to !

He only nominated Dexter because his "Mentor" dislikes him!

I have always declared myself to be a supporter of Sam, and would prefer him to get the £100,000 rather than Dexter and Gina [because he needs it the most]...[and still do!] but I am also aware that the lad has been totally taken in by his Svengali...the Creepster Callum!!...[in fact he is so far up his arse, that all I can see of Sam is his feet!] [Sam type pun!]...So it only stands to reason that he would feel the need to share 'a common enemy' with his master! ...it's his understanding of loyalty. :spin:

Sam has made a study of ALL the previous disabled contestants and knows exactly how far they got and why. His gameplan is to emulate them but having regard to how they failed he thinks he knows how to win! It's called SLEEPING, if you sleep all day you cannot get caught up in controversy.

Kazanne 31-07-2013 06:45 PM

I feel sorry for Sam(or anyone) who has to share a confined space with Dexter.

That's the long and the short of it.

If Sam was nominating Dexter because he didn't like him he could have come up with better reasons than those.

I felt badly for Sam when Jack was pointing to his ear and telling him to be louder when they were in wrestling costumes. It was completely insensitive and cruel.

Sam does seem to reach for reasons to nominate.

How do we know Sam is a nice guy? He has a disability that is severely limited his social status within the house. He's been forced into the 'nice guy' role regardless of who he really is. If he had perfect hearing he would have been a lot more involved and could have turned out to be a toss ass in the house. Outside the house when he is around people he knows he might be a completely douchebag.

He has a very nasty side to him which is overlooked because he is usually asleep.
