He's too good looking to really work as a gay celeb (needs to be less attractive e.g. Alan Carr, Graham Norton, Stephen K Amos, Elton John, Paul O Grady, Rylan etc). I suspect Alistair Appleton never reached his prime time potential as women were frustrated that they had no chance. Even a stunner like Hazel has to resort to practically rubbing herself against Dan.
