The problem when racism gets brought up is it becomes some kind of bandwagon that people just jump all over on and pick out every little thing someone says. Happens all the time with the British audience so I can't be surprised at this. Yeh I know some of the things said have been distasteful but that doesn't mean every single thing has to get picked out, it gets boring. Nobody has punched another person. I know many people need villains and angels, but let's just be thankful it's a realistic BB rather than one without live feed and pushing stupid showmances and pretty it's all hunky dory.

Yeah, too much talk about racism. Why don't people understand that if everyone just ignores it, it will go away? Maybe as you suggest, we could just deal with 2 out of every 5 incidents of racism? That's 40% after all. Would that be enough to just about keep your interest and avoid boring you, with something as irrelevant as racism.

It's like people in the GM discussion thread basically saying "yeah, GM's a racist bitch but she's funny.......a funny racist. She's great!". I didn't realize that a bit of light comedy made racism that bit more acceptable.:bored:

Erm no the silly race jokes aren't funny. But other things are funny with GM, the problem is some people are so obsessed with one aspect they can't enjoy much else with this show. I'm not even a GM 'fan' or a fan particularly of anyone (well maybe Elissa, maybe), but to enjoy the show it's better to look at more aspects of it than just race. Maybe you'd like a show just about race.

It's not that people are so obsessed with one aspect, it's that it is such a big aspect. Objectively speaking this is without a doubt the worst group of human beings assembled in BBUS history, and potentially one of the worst in BB globally. If it's not racism, it's about Candice being a degenerate and no wonder she was given up for adoption, or about Spencer making a rather tasteless joke about child porn. I get what you're saying about hopping on the racism bandwagon, but this isn't something as petty as Jemima saying she doesn't like black men. These people are disgusting racists and I don't think you can blame anyone for not being able to get past that.
