To be fair barbel...Sam didn't need to keep up with what was said to show compassion to a 'friend in distress' did he..?
All he had to do was follow her into the bedroom as "The cold hearted rat Dexter" [as his detractors would portray him] did, and offer a shoulder to cry on!...but did we see any of the expected 'friend-etiquette' displayed by Sam?...did we hell!...we saw a display of the boy's gameplan to keep away from anything that might be unpopular with both the other housemates and more importantly....the voting public!...it's accumulation of niggly little things like this that has put the boy right down in my estimation in the last couple of weeks barbel..I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with "playing the game to win"...[and it might just be the fact that 'his sincere-lad act' had me fooled for weeks?:blush2:] but this level of sneakyness is too much for me!....I no longer want him to win, and refuse to brush his bad points off as "Well ..it's harder for lovely Sam!".. :hmph:

Cheers.

I heard her say that too, the silly woman (I'm being polite.) And I think you've got a really good point about the kind of message it sends out-namely that the guys can do what they want because society just blames women. Disgraceful.

Ace post.
I agree with every word and although I haven't stopped watching,I am really appalled at the truly biased and unjust treatment towards Hazel too.

Carole was a hopeless housemate and she is even worse as a panellist.

It amuses me that of all the odious personalities in there, Hazel is the one who's singled out for the most venom. She's an intelligent woman, eloquent and articulate, she takes no prisoners and she doesn't burst into tears every time things aren't going her way... and people hate her for it.

I firmly believe that the continued biased editing of BB,and the character assassination of Hazel on BBBOTS,is because Hazel would be of no use to BB if she won!! She probably would never have won,but they're making darned sure she doesn't.
Hazel already has a career, and her going on BB was in order to try and break into the UK market, which, despite the controversy,I think she will succeed in doing. She's a strong willed, savvy business woman, who will need no guidance from BB,and more importantly will not be easily manipulated by BB!?!
BB will get 6 months out of Gina, maybe a year out of Dexter, and then they will be forgotten, bar the odd "guest" appearance on BBBOTS!!!:joker::joker:

Mmmm!...Proud of Dexter,...disappointed with Sam! [again!] :nono:

You mean that same pack mentality that was directed at Callum when he was in there?

To be fair to Emma and the BOTS team, during discussions after the Daley incident, Emma consistently put forward the fact that Daley was the one cheating on his girlfriend, whilst Hazel was single. Most if not all the team seemed very uneasy with the idea of people blaming Hazel for his actions in the Safe House too. They didn;t want to crucify him for it,true, and some disagreed with his being booted out, but they all said he overstepped the line and that Hazel cannot be held responsible for that.

BOTS is always biased.

Tozzie 07-08-2013 11:54 PM

Of course she has a right to be angry but there is a right and wrong way to go about things. She went head on at Charlie, she was awful with her and did it in front of the whole house. Thats out of order. I do not 'hate' Hazel Livia, I don't like her though, in my mind she has a horrible personality, you like her, I don't.

SurfersCreed 08-08-2013 12:01 AM

It was 100% GINA who stirred things up against Charlie.
She was also the only HM to show a vicious GLEE at Charlie's distress.
Gina is a NASTY peice of work.

Videostar 08-08-2013 12:03 AM

I do agree that Gina got an easy ride on BOTS tonight, she was heavily involved in the attacks on Charlie, and she was loving every minute of it.

But TBF, Hazel did steal the show with her very spiteful remarks and insults at Charlie's friend.

I like Gina but she was the one in the main loading the guns against Charlie after what her boyfriend said.

Hazel had a lot to say and did so, Hazel got a bolt from the blue as to Charlies awful friend nominating her and why she did so was right to get at Charlie in my view.

Yes they blamed Daley too.
But I don't agree with your analysis tbh.
Rightly or wrongly and whether you agree, from what I saw it was a moral crusade against the "behaviour" from start to finish.

Since when did "flirting" become a crime ?
Show me any man or woman who can only find ONE person attractive.
It's ridiculous (especially from BB)

But hey, let's just forget we're all human beings and just point the finger instead...
