Yeah what are we thinking? This isn't the way of our generation! When we see someone being pushed down, trodden on and dehumanised... when we see an injustice staring us in the face on live TV... what should we do? Turn to another channel of course! Avert our eyes! It's the best thing to do, right? If we pretend it isn't happening, everything will be just fine.

I'd be happy if they cancelled the show and Endemol went bankrup after this ****. It's absolutely foul. And anyone who finds it entertaining really needs to think about the things that they "enjoy", and why.

Rubbish. Endurance? Yes, endurance of bullying from Gina. Gina is the sly and manipulative one.

In what way was she bullied? by being shocked as part of the task?

That in no way means physical abuse as suggested by the OP in this thread, if that's the case then tons of housemates have been abused over the past few years.

You seriously don't think that's an exaggeration?

Hazel was just pissed off at Gina, not being brutally beaten

Because they enjoyed seeing her suffer.

And not in the lighthearted-if-meanspirited way of past years where people have just found the actual reactions to the shocks funny.

They enjoyed it in the sense of actually getting off on taking power away from her, dominating her and making her feel small. The motivations behind it went way beyond "a task". They loved it, because they dislike her. Like a kid in school deliberately whacking someone they don't like in the face with a dodgeball in PE, pissing themselves with laughter, and then passing it off as "part of the game".

No. And not just because of this, or Hazel. The way the entire show has been handled this year is sickening.

The physical abuse (electro shocks, the hunger rations) and emotional abuse (the 'empowerment' of HM's who are OBVIOUSLY going to use that power to bully Hazel) actually upset me tonight.

I don't mean I found it 'annoying' or 'unfair'. I mean I actually found upsetting.

Although the bullying is CHANNELED through Gina, it's still the producers who are orchestrating it.

Please sign this thread or leave your comment if you were angered or upset by the events that were broadcast tonight.

l agree gina has shown what a jealous bitch she is leave hazel alone WHY IS GINAS B/F ON SINGING ?????

Yet more hysterical nonsense from the OP.

YodaBB 08-08-2013 10:59 PM

Lol. So not having three course meals is now physical abuse & Big Brother physically abuses housemates each series with shocks & nasty eating tasks?

Are you really trying to claim that Hazel HASN'T been dehumanised by BB production / BOTS?

liampadams 08-08-2013 11:04 PM

As part of the task

jackc1806 08-08-2013 11:04 PM

Was it bullying when Hazel made Gina sweep the garden?

ahopkins 08-08-2013 11:05 PM

Everyone got the same amount of Electric shocks. Hazel probably got less electric shocks if anything so why don't you complain about the other people?

It's nothing to do with being shocked......did you not watch the programme? The girls were an absolute disgrace in their actions towards Hazel. I used to like Gina but she is actually an awful bully. She loves the power and poor little Charlie, who has no sense and zero guts has aligned herself with the person she perceives will gain her the most popularity. Sophie is exactly the same and seems to stir it the whole time.

Dehumanised is ****ing strong. They work with storylines, both Gina and Hazel have their faults but Hazel is least liked so there is your answer.

Nedusa 08-08-2013 11:06 PM

How many Bloody times do I have to submit posts across various threads condemning the actions and behaviour of Gina. She is an absolute skank and should have been thrown off the programme weeks ago. She is vile truly horrible and tonight we got to see some good old fashioned bullying with the help of BB who basically are letting her run the show.

I am at a loss for words with this series of BB, just when you think it can't get any worse, just when you think it has scraped the bottom of the barrel lo and behold they sink even lower with a spot of organised public bullying.

FFS only this week a young girl committed suicide due to cyber bullying and yet here we have BB putting it on television for entertainment.

I'm Speechless......!!!!!!!!!

This thread is about the shocks....

What else happened to Hazel tonight that would be classed as bullying?

Comparing the tragedy of a girl who was bullied for months to someone getting a few light shocks as a task on a TV show is ****ing disgraceful. You should be ashamed

Apart from Sam and Dexter...they all seemed to enjoy the pack mentality on Charlie....that was 5 against 1...not 1 against 1 (Charlie was just the spokesperson remember).
