Gina has done more than just dream of being an actress; she has been in a number of acting roles.

Not to mention that side of her life in or out of the house is the biggest clue in some ways: she doesn't want anyone to realise the 'rich girl' thing is just an act.

She is only with Ecksell 18 months, twitter feed started 2 and a half years ago.

Paris Hilton was born into wealth and a privileged lifestyle, her family could afford the best education for her, she could hire any personal stylist etc., and yet what happened?

Paris Hilton certainly ever came across as well educated/intelligent when younger , also went around in scanty clothes muttering "omg", and "that's hot", and also seemed completely ignorant to everyday things such as how to use a microwave. Just obsessed with her looks, makeup, clothing, ad 'hot guys'. So she is actually proof that being wealthy doesn't automatically mean someone will be well educated, and elegant looking.

EDIT: Paris Hilton has also done a reality tv show, acting and attempted a singing career.
Just because she's mega wealthy didn't stop her from doing small bits of acting, tv, and music. Doesn't make her a 'fake' wealthy person for doing these things.

I predict "Gina Rio" will cease to exist after that persona has served its purpose. She'll keep it going until the spotlight is off her.

It's possible one of the trashmags may want to do an article about her lifestyle. It's the type of thing which would fit in well with that genre of rag.

Two and a half years is not long time if the end result was to be a Paris Hilton type Reality Show. AND if it comes to pass it will merely prove that Channel 5 has been complicit all along in the fraud that is "Gina Rio"

It's not a fraud. This is a reality tv world now. Dexter already admitted to his "sugar daddy" character. He's been playing it for a while too. Dexter played the whole "get an article in the newspapers and get on a reality show" game just like Gina did. For goodness sake, even Callum played a character (ladies man). She has obviously been working at the "Gina Rio" character for some time - tweaking things as necessary. However, the Gina Rio character is not that hard for her to pull off for a long period of time because it is simply a mega-wealthy version of herself, and it is obviously the person she always wanted to be.

Gina Rio is rich. Georgina Shant'e Reid is NOT rich. You can do minimal research in public records and find her mother, brother and herself reside in a council flat. This all came out when the first articles appeared. The only home owned by the family was in Islington (Sold in April 2013), and it was a modest one bedroom home that was available to rent in November 2012 for 550 per month. I don't feel comfortable including the addresses here, but you can easily find them online.

There is evidence from the former band about how she got in the band WHEN SHE COULDN'T EVEN SING!!!! - and then claimed racism when she was booted. That is an actress. There is also evidence from her own mouth that she studied acting since age 5 (along with numerous casting websites showing her 'resume' and cheap looking photos.)

Other neighbors from the council flat have come forward saying it was her, and other people have come forward (actually numerous) saying that she drove a beat up Peugeot (I think it was a Peugeot - it was a beater anyway...)
Instead of pretending to come from a wealthy family, she pretends to come from a MEGA-RICH family. No one has heard of father Paul's construction company, and they have only heard of the rapper boyfriend because of Gina.

The odds of a 24 year old British girl born in Enfield who has never been to a pub, ridden a bus or ridden a train have to be astronomical. However, Gina's mother sent her to the most public experience of her life IN A CAB! It came out of her own mouth. If you have never been on a bus or train and you are going on Big Brother, you would not go in a cab with the kind of wealth Gina is talking about.

In terms of education, there is no evidence of posh schools or upscale education of any kind. She studied acting and performing.
There is also tons of additional evidence on these boards and on the internet.

Gina Rio is a character. All the Big Brother people know it, and she even answers questions to Emma and AJ in a haughty voice. They are all playing along. Sure she is going to have some trappings of success in the coming months and might even make some money (I hope so), but you can't use that as an excuse to prove her vast "wealth"

And...do we even need to talk about the wealthy put-on "accent." A quick youtube search finds the fake posh accent is not there, and Gina adds and deletes here posh accent in different situations. In her finale interview, the fake posh accent was on full display.

One more thing - if your family is so rich and you are living off your family with 18-20k per month hotel bills and tens of thousands in allowance each month, why would you change your name. Why not embrace Georgina Reid - why create Gina Rio??? Because it is a character, and she wants to live the character Gina Rio's life for as long as she can.

Gina should have the likes of OK magazine hounding her for an article.... with pics of her lavish lifestyle.

Mind you, how they would square that with this article they wrote I'm not sure. ;)

And that proves what exactly? She may be staying there now with the money she is getting post BB - finally a chance to do for real what she has only done in her head before.

It seems that most people are unaware that they ALL get £30 each for every day they spend in the House.

She will now have the opportunity to make tens of thousands. Her rapper boyfriend may have already secured some deals for her (maybe with a little up front payment).

I hope she does make some money and is able to live the luxurious life for real - and not just pretend.

Ironic really - because if Gina could actually act there would never have been all this doubt in the first place.

What about research - a good actress does her research. If you are going to pretend you are rich - you damn well make sure you look and sound the part.

If she really is an aspiring actress - then the best advice for her - is to give it up now.

The most likely scenario is that she is just one of many that suffer from delusions of grandeur because they cannot come to terms with who they really are.

What difference will her making "tens of thousands" make to your life?

Just saying that Gina may be able to afford "for real" some of the things she has always wanted.

It will make me happy if she can really have some money without having to pretend about everything.

She'll be able to afford some private psycho-therapy, so that she can come to terms with who she really is.

That would be the best use of any money she earns.

Do you really think that that will make her a nicer person?

Why should someone so unpleasant be rewarded for being so? What has she done to deserve being able to afford doing the things she has always wanted to do? There are far more deserving people I would wish that for.

Who knows? Do you think achieving wealth would make her whole self morph into the Gina Rio character and that she would treat her family and friends in a "less" nice way???

The girl didn't have a clue how to behave as if she came from money. The queen of tarts needs to get some smarts. Dread to think what she would be like if she did acutally acquire some wealth.

Judging by her comments about 'the help' etc and her general looking down her nose at people - she would discriminate against the 'poor' and be no better than those she despises for treating black people as second-class citizens. Any kind of discrimination is a no no Gina! The girl really has taken hypocricy to a new level.

Gina is patently fake and is good to see people have sussed her out. She is also very jealous. You are so right, she create a persona out of self hate. She was pathologically jealous of Hazel and this why she hated her.
She is a sad person, very sad. If she wore her own hair, her own eye color and less makeup, lost the ho outfits etc, She would look much better. I also think she is ashamed of her Mum and family.

Absolutely. She looked slightly horrified when they played the recording of her Mum's voice to all the housemates.

That degree of jealousy is rather disturbing. I think she longs to be Hazel, that Hazel represents everything she wants to be, but isn't. She lost control of herself and it was uncomfortable - I felt embarrassed for her.

Gina's hatred of Hazel possibly cost her £100k.
