I don't throw out the "jealousy" card about very often, if ever, but if you read the title of this thread I said they "seemed" jealous of her...im asking why they were so bitchy about her.

I think Gina did enough jealous bitching to keep the female popuation going until the year dot.

Maybe she had, although her and Hazel's dispute was both ways, they were both foul about eachother and used names that was uncalled for.

Very different to the unfair bitching about Courtney who hasn't done either of them any wrong, other than being very much younger than them.

I didn't see it and can't speak for why they said what they said - but I can certainly see why many women would not think much of Courtney, and it has bugger all to do with her age.

Some men only see her from a very limited viewpoint.

I don't fancy Courtney as her face isn't very attractive IMO, but she is a nice person and perfectly harmless...but if women can't look past her short skirt and huge fake tits that's really their problem...it says more about them than it does any men who like her for whatever reason.

She IS stick thin, her skirt wasn't just short, she was showing her knickers. She looked trashy. Sophie had a short skirt on, has a beautiful face and is successful in her own right.. Didn't hear anybody directing jealousy at her
She's not pretty, she's surgically enhanced and looks stupidly out of proportion, she's rich through marriage, not success... Her relationship is debatable... And tbh I can't see 1 thing to be jealous of.. She looks and sounds awful.

..I thought Sophie could be jealous of her but she did say that she had misjudged her because of Courtney's high pitched voice, which I do think would be irritating if she was like that all the time but it just seemed to be the excitement of launch night and I warmed to Sophie after saying that...Courtney stands for everything Carol doesn't like in a female so I don't think for her it's jealousy at all..
