Exactly, it wasn't in anger. She limply slapped her hand in it, looked around to see who saw and then just walked over to them "Oh, I've punched the cake because...." then washed it off.

She needs to up the entertainment factor if she wants this blatant attention seeking to be at all endearing, because right now it's just annoying.
