Cant see where Kagawa will play in a 442 TBH . Fans better get used to Young playing LOL.

On the wing most likely.

Who'd of thought it... Bebe must be so smug right now. He could do a better job Young and Valencia.

First Gibson and now this. Some of our fans are a joke tbh.

Ryan57 23-09-2013 07:57 PM

Yeah, I have to say, as much as I can't stand Young, I wouldn't tweet abuse to him. Too far. Every team has fans like it though.

Kagawas not a winger so I dont think Moyes will play him as one. This is the point I was trying to make. United like 442, Moyes likes 442 so get used to Young in the team cuz I dont see Zaha or Kagawa getting in the team ahead of him in a 442.

I've got a friend who's such a staunch Man Utd fan and so anti Man City that he actually - check this - thinks Danny Welbeck is a better player than Sergio Aguero :joker: asked him today what he thought of Young and had to stand back due at the abuse that came out of his mouth. Young got a lot of wrok to do to prove himself in that team but in terms of options he's one of the better options for a 442.

Legend killer 23-09-2013 10:01 PM

I would not piss on Ashley if he were on fire. EASILY the worst signing in United history which is made even more pathetic when you consider Fergie brought in bums like Miller and Djemba Djemba

Yeah, Kagawa isn't a winger, but that's the only place I see him playing. Fergie played him out wide and he played the outdated 4-4-2/4-4-1-1.

Have to disagree about Young being one of the better options. I would personally prefer to play a dustbin.

All rival fans are just pissing themselves, tbh. It's not that we're a wank team, it's the fact we play wank players. Probably play a weakened team tomorrow involving Kagawa and Nani. Total lulz at the fact the pair are better than what's in our starting XI.

United fans upset because they've bought a bad player who the manager sticks with. Like that has never happened at any other club/united before.

Legend killer 24-09-2013 11:14 PM

I remember when i spent time and effort defending this bum whilst Locke went HAM on him how i regret that now

Interesting thought that crossed my mind today

Is Ashley a Somalian version of Downing
Or
Is Downing a White version of Ashley????????????????/

Ryan57 25-09-2013 07:18 AM

When did you defend him?

Curious because I was pleased when we signed him. I really rated him. I've never been more wrong in my life.

Legend killer 25-09-2013 09:35 AM

When we first signed him biggest regret in my life

Ryan57 25-09-2013 09:53 AM

Weird how he began so well (such as those two wonderful goals against Arsenal) and its been down hill ever since.

Jesus. 25-09-2013 09:56 AM

It's like watching 2 drunks talk about the good ol' days as they pass 20/20 between themselves.

Thread of the year.

In terms of players who fit a 442 Young, after Valencia, is on paper probably the best option to play out wide - after Giggs. Its not cuz I think he's a good player - I don't BTW - why I say Youngs the best option I'm basing it on the attributes young is supposed to have. Nani wont track back, Kagawa isn't a natural wide player and the other options of say Rooney or Welbeck out wide are not feasible when you have a naturally wide player like Young available. I don't think I explained my self sufficiently but in terms of looking at the squad on paper Young has got to be either first or second choice to play out wide in a 442 LOL. Unless of course Ryan Giggs starts playing again. Its a sorry state of affairs when a guy pushing 40 is probably your best option on the wing. :joker:

Downing is far superior to Young, please do not compare the two

On paper, yeah. Unfortunately, anywhere but on paper Young is wank. :joker:

Zaha and Nani deserve a chance. We buy Zaha, one of the best English youngsters, yet continue to play Valencia and Young, ROFL.

Nani definitely would have made a difference n the games Man Utd have played this season. Maybe Moyes doesn't rate him but at least Nani can beat a man in a one on one without diving, Young cutting in on his right foot when wide on the left is getting predictable IMO.

Assuming he must rate him as he recently signed a new contract. Although, that could be so he doesn't leave for free next summer.

The most ridiculous thing in all of this is the fact that we have great players, yet they don't play. Would be easier to take if our team was sh-it. However, every team line up our 'effin bench has more midfield talent than the starting XI does.

Nobody fears Valencia and Young on the wings.

GiRTh 25-09-2013 01:20 PM

Ferdinand and Vidic playing so many games in a row was Moyes showing his inexperience at this level IMO. Whether he likes it or not he's got to rotate the squad. He's not Everton manager anymore he's got to think about every game in every competition s.

Indeed. Ferdinand was a disaster on Sunday.

Legend killer 25-09-2013 08:51 PM

I said before the season started Rio was done and should be phased out for Johnny

MTVN so Young is a white version of Downing then???
