The Harries family have proved themselves to be of invaluable support to Lauren time and time again. It saddens me, for Lauren's sake, that so called 'fans' of hers would be so careless and libelous with their words regarding her nearest and dearest - a cast of heroes without whom Lauren would most likely be dead, or in prison

Believe me, Lauren chooses her own outfits. Her mother, Jill, an impeccably turned out and handsome woman, would love nothing more than to see Lauren dress up like other women her own age

Well said deebo:hugesmile:

Anyone notice that twice when Lauren's mum has been on bb and Emma has asked if she's missing Lauren she's made it clear she hasn't, avoiding the question saying something like the bb experience doesn't give her the chance to miss her

Who's JILL?

I think we should be told! :conf:

Anyone who posts pseudo-medical Mumbo Jumbo like this > http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...332&highlight=

Won't be, and doesn't deserve to be taken seriously!

I did notice that. It sounded as if Emma was definitely trying to get a proper answer this time. But, again, Mummy Harries evaded the question.

Perhaps the Harries family is actually quite pleased to have a break from Lauren: she must be a nightmare to live with.

But they'll be happy enough to take a big cut of any money Lauren makes on the back of CBB.......

"A CAST OF HEROES" !!!!! LOL a cast of fraudsters more like ! I think the public DO know all about the harries family-it,s been in the papers enough over the years - their a load of con merchants & it,s been PROVED - as for the mother being "a handsome woman" you should have gone to specsavers

If my daughter was in there, and I said "I want her back home." Before I said it I would think.. "But if I say that people might vote to get her out." So I probably wouldn't say it.

lauren should never have been allowed in in the first place ! the whole family are a bunch of fraudsters-conned money out of loads of people-the mother is just after what she can make out of the sympathy vote & lauren can,t handle normal life anyway !! get the freak out

Ryan57 07-09-2013 02:54 PM

Sympathy vote without doubt.

Hope she doesn't win.

The house mates are not helping lauren become independent at all by keep helping her all the time in fact there taking her independence away they should let her do things for herself shes an adult not a child..

MatthewS 07-09-2013 05:01 PM

If she's 35 and still not independent, I don't see how whatever the housemates do will change anything. She's clearly been babied/papered far too long if she still has to rely on others to do basic things. A few weeks in the BB house isn't going to change anything...

If it is the case that Lauren's mother does not choose her clothes and Lauren does choose them herself then I unreservedly withdraw any opinions I have voiced about her mother. My opinions of her parents were formed by the Keith Allen documentary which did not show them in a good light at all. They do seem to seek publicity a good deal however, that may well be because they think they have a lot to contribute. Yesterday I watched watched Kate Harries' you-tube vids about the political party she wanted to set up etc. It is true that they have stood by their daughter through all the tribulations and it is clear that Lauren loves her mother dearly. I can see that it might have been difficult for her mother at times and that her support has been unswerving. I am now reconsidering my previous somewhat harsh comments about her mother and regret making some of them. There has to be room for eccentric behaviour and acceptance of it. I have worried about Lauren's ability to adapt, however, she is doing well and she is making friends. I am sure that her family are very happy about this and that they might welcome the hopefully kinder opinions of the public in the future. Lauren and her mother both describe themselves as strong. It is becoming increasingly clear that they both are strong. This can only be good for them both.

Lauren is great viewing and literally makes me laugh out loud, she's so comical, between her and Louie they have made this years CBB show, I don't sympathize with anyone here, my vote is for someone who entertains me.
