BrickCity are supposedly the standout group of this year. They consist of 3 guys and 1 girl. The guy on the far right is Duane Lamonte from Cheryl's Judges Houses in 2009, and the black guy in the middle left if James Bellamy from Louis's Judges Houses in 2005. He looks different now though, he had a mini afro and a lisp back in 2005 when he was just 16 years old!

They're better than all the girls tbh.

MeMyselfAndI 08-09-2013 03:42 PM

I love BrickCity, Leona loves them too

Black Dagger 08-09-2013 03:43 PM

I much prefer 3rd Degree on XFactor Australia, although they are flopping a bit now, but BC sound nice.

I'm all about my Kingsland boys though (probably the first boyband I'll actively support if they (they probably will) make lives'

MeMyselfAndI 08-09-2013 03:44 PM

Times Red last year were great, but they got rid of them for two identical tweenie boy bands

Yeah, it was strange.. Times Red (or Duke) would have been something different from a 'boyband' perspective.. and the other mixed group > MK1 imo.

Braden 08-09-2013 03:50 PM

I only care about Melanie getting through to the live shows thus far.

Marc 08-09-2013 04:11 PM

So no more girls that we see from now on make it to JH's lol

Same'sies

Headie 08-09-2013 05:03 PM

I predict that these will make live shows:

Girls:
Tamera Foster
Melanie McCabe
Hannah Barrett OR Abi Alton

Groups:
Brick City
Kingsland OR Xyra
Manufactured Black 3-Piece Girl Group

Overs:
Sam Bailey
Joseph Wheelan
Shelley Smith

No point predicting the boys as we already know who is through.

Hannah sounds surprisingly better than most of the others.

Hannah ad Abi's performances are pretty good. So many 'meh' acts on the girls side.

Is anybody else just sick of 'Clown'

Mystic Mock 09-09-2013 01:54 AM

Please Melanie go through.

Shaun 09-09-2013 02:00 AM

oh wow, BrickCity are good

Headie 12-09-2013 02:48 PM

SPOILERS. Rumours suggest that the 3 groups that Gary has chosen for the live shows are:

Spoiler:

Brick City, Kingsland and Manufactured Black Girlband

:D

Black Dagger 12-09-2013 02:57 PM

Spoiler:

Seems the most likely, they were never going to take through 2 girl groups and while Xyra were supposed to be one of the best of bootcamp, they'd choose manufactured anyday.

Headie 12-09-2013 04:00 PM

^ The manufactured girl group were apparently really strong at bootcamp and had insanely tight harmonies when they sang (bare in mind they had only been formed like 8 hours before, so imagine what they could do with proper practice and after bonding more). I'm kind of excited at the prospect of an all-black girlband being on X Factor (lets just pretend Addictiv Ladies never happened in 2005). No doubt they'll get compared to a mini 'Destiny's Child' throughout the series.

We know 2 of the 3 girls in the manufactured girlband:

Sherise: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/realityt...2-sherise.html

Jeanette Akua (the mixed race girl who keeps being shown walking up to the judges in the room auditions): http://youtu.be/99VMXUIU-Hc

We just don't know the 3rd girl's name, but we know she's either black or mixed race.

Headie 12-09-2013 07:30 PM

Girls Judges Houses starts next week, then the Overs are the week after. After all that we should have an indication of the Top 12 based on rumours/tweets etc.

Amy Jade 12-09-2013 07:48 PM

Loving Melanie <3

Love them!

Which means they'll be out in week 3

No my favourite normally is in danger and possibly out by week 3 on the UK X Factor.:joker:

Headie 13-09-2013 02:47 PM

The New Girl Group are reportedly named "!STOP!LOOK!LISTEN!"

The names of the 3 black girls in the band are Jeanette Akua, Shereece Foster and Rielle Carrington.

There was this STUNNING pic of all 3 girls posing for an Instagram photo but it's been taken down now :(

Rielle's audition was shown in episode 1 for a brief moment during a montage.

Spoiler:

It's confirmed they are through:

Riélle #SoTurnedUp ‏@rielleUK 1h
Great news to come back to manchester with❤ mega tired. Jet lag is kicking in!! Goodnight xxx

Headie 13-09-2013 03:06 PM

So now we have an idea of what the group sounds like after hearing all of their individual voices:

Shereece Foster:

Rielle Carrington:

Jeanette Akua:

TBH I think they have the potential to be AMAZING!

This is the only (low quality) picture of them all together:

What sort of name is Stop! Look! Listen! lol?

Lexi-8 13-09-2013 07:35 PM

I usually like the groups. I loved Times Red and in their year, I thought Miss Frank could have been great! My favourites never usually get far!

I'm new, decided to un lurk and say Hi!

Turns out the name STOPLOOKLISTEN was not the girl groups name, it was just an expression used. As in listen and watch out. Someone on a different thread interpreted it as their group name and everyone was going around thinking that it was their group name :joker:

I thought it was weird too, glad it's not true :joker:
