I don't get why people don't listen properly to what the hm say... Everything gets twisted on this forum Vicky didn't say that anyone should get preferential treatment... She said if anyone goes in the house and finds themselves in a bad way at some stage and needed to see their family who's to say if it's right or wrong... Also she did not tell charlotte that she could not have another drink the first night... She said there were others coming in and there was only 2 bottles of whatever they were drinking... She said do what you want but there are others to think of..... Don't see anything wrong with that.

It was an argument of 2 differing opinions,Neither were right as they were just their opinions.Vicky was willing to sit down and talk it out maturely.Charlotte brought the whole thing down to kiddy level by throwing a strop like a 10 year old instead of discussing it.Then,She said Vicky was acting immature!!This made me chuckle,The irony....

For gods sake this thread is totally pointless. I wish people would get their facts straight before mounting their awfully tall horses !
Lauren DID NOT see a family member and thats been confirmed - so Charlotte and her massive vile nasty mouth is bang out of order again - BB should have called her to the diary room and then threw her out for her disgusting treatment of Vicky.

What a nasty bitch she is - shame she's not up for eviction !

this year they had far too much contact though.

agreed. charlotte was pig ignorant. she started shouting abusing bullying and intimidating....didn't she nominate bruce for raising his voice once?

Kizzy 10-09-2013 12:34 AM

Charlotte threw a massive paddy! Like a 2yr old in a supermarket... All because she couldn't express herself well enough, maybe Vicky was a little short with her and was slightly patronising but the histrionics?... She's still stropping about it now!

Its just beyond pathetic. Vicky had every right to say, if you let me finish, that's not patronising whatsoever. its simple manners. clearly no one has ever told her shes pig ignorant....that's how she ended up so spoilt

Apart from the fact there may be a massive case of hippocrisy and double standards when considering Charlotte's own behaviour, you seem to be accusing Vicky of sitting in judgement and then go on to say "Vicky had no right" !

BBUKAUSFAN 10-09-2013 06:18 AM

Charlotte was in the right!

as for those saying Lauren was right to see her mother, if she is so unwell that she need moral support from family she shouldn't be in the house, she should be at home with her family.

MachoPoodle 10-09-2013 06:29 AM

Basically I think they're all spoiled wusses. 3 weeks w/o family so what? There are plenty of people in the world who has absolutely no one, at any time. That said, Charlotte's childish behaviour was silly. She's 23, not 5, yet she argues on a child's level. Vicky was a bit condescending, but Charlotte definitely crossed the line way before she did. But again, all of them should rein in their privilege, and keep it in check.

The key to this debate is just how bad a state Lauren was, in an ideal world they should all be treated fairly, but there are always exceptions and Lauren i think we can all agree is most definitely not as mentally stable as the others. If the doctor felt she was in a bad condition and needed to see her mum then who are we to argue with that.

If she was in such a bad way that she has to see her Mum,then she should have been removed from the house, and if she is not mentally stable as you put it she should never have been put in there in the first place.

What I found most alarming about the whole thing was that Marcus said "mistakenly think that..." And then the following conversation basically confirmed that we're being lied to. Charlotte mentioned seeing family right in front of Lauren, and Lauren didn't deny it or even look slightly surprised, confirming that it must have happened. So either it's being covered up, or for some reason Lauren WANTS people to think she saw family when she didnt.

As for the argument, yes Charlotte was very immature and it was obvious that she was finding it hard to contain her upset and frustration... But trying to claim that Vicky was in the right? She was being deliberately aggressive, patronising and antagonistic throughout the entire conversation. Not what she said - but how she said it. Then she pulled out the old "Im 45 I deserve respect" chestnut (is she really only 45 by the way??? Wut??) Before going to the garden to demonstrate that she, in fact, doesnt deserve any respect at all from Charlotte because she clearly doesn't and never has respected Charlotte. Her underlying feelings bubbled to the surface, and it's the same nasty judgemental rubbish we're seeing all over the internet.

The real shame is that Vicky would be easy to wreck in an argument, she's a very angry little lady, all you'd need to do is keep your cool, wind her up, and then laugh at her. She would implode, spectacularly. Unfortunately Charlotte isn't in control of her emotions and couldn't do that.

Cherie 10-09-2013 08:40 AM

Must admit I was taken aback when Vicky said she was 45, she is not aging well if that is or all she is or maybe it is her clothes that make her appear dowdy and older than she is.

Yes. Lauren only saw a doctor. I'm glad she's feeling better now. :)

I'm not saying Vicky was right for that comment that she deserved respect, however to be fair Vicky has been one of the most respectful housemates thus far. Many of the others have been involved in slanging matches in the house, and charlotte still has respect for them.
They had one slight disagreement is all that really happened, when you have a slight difference of opinion it doesn't follow you have no respect for that person does it?

When you look at charlottes behaviour has she really done anything to be respected for, As it does have to be earned?
She clearly has anger issues and needs to learn that running away swearing and crying is not the way to get your point across.

She had CONTACT with her family/mother, finally admitted to by BB after trying a failed cover-up.

You clearly failed to hear Vicky say to Charlotte before she (Charlotte) had finished giving her point across "Right, I'm going to stop you there".

Just because the woman is 45 does not give her carte blanche over conversations/debates between a few HM's.

She stopped Charlotte before she had explained her views and then was complete rude to her when she tried to explain why she had said what she did.

Pincho Paxton 10-09-2013 10:51 AM

I never see my family anyway. I don't get the fuss. I don't see them for months at a time. Letters from my family in the house would just embarrass me. I hate that sort of thing, and I hate phone calls.

Oh dear someone in an argument was a bit snappy with the other person.
What a crime.
The girl from geordie ***** reacted like a little brat and someone asking her to let them finish their point before being spoken over is more respect than vicky should have given her.

What was stopping charlotte from saying to vicky please let me finish first? answer: nothing at all she spat her chavvy little dummy out instead because she hasnt got the guts, intelligence or self respect to do so.

Christ she has a shock coming to her if she reacts like that to not getting her own way in life.

I predict a short career on channels in the 900's on sky tv followed by a trip into nothingness unless she grows up fast.

Very true

Jordan. 10-09-2013 11:36 AM

Of course she was right. Vicky clearly isn't aware that BB is supposed to be NO CONTACT with the outside, being upset doesn't give you the right to see your family, you know what you're signing up for.

Vanessa 10-09-2013 11:39 AM

Big Brother can change the rules at anytime. Clearly Charlotte has forgotten that.

Jordan. 10-09-2013 11:50 AM

That's just the lamest excuse of a rule ever for them to justify their favoritism.
