Hardly the new Britney we were expecting though.

FFS these last 3 years have been dominated by europop disguised as r'n'b and that was finally fading away with Robin Thicke and Daft Punk kind of bringing the funk back.

Brit said in an interview she was going back to her roots and this album would be like nothing we ever heard before? Not looking to promoising from the first single. Then again she could pull out a P!nk and do a "Get The Party Started" which was just the anthem for people to buy her most personal, most critically acclaimed album ever.

This is the same blippy studio sound engineering we have been hearing since Femme Fatale it seems dated.

At the mo its all about funk and 1993 rave.

I would have loved to see her come back with something more old school like a TLC "Scrubs" type of tune or just plain "Criminal".

Anyway I love her so will kind of settle for something I could have actually made on my laptop.

My god I should so be a music critic.

On a very positive note she is promoting people to get themselves jobs lol and im loving shes embracing the East London accent.

I still NEED Outrageous 2.0.

Saph 15-09-2013 10:13 PM

from what we know, the album doesn't really reflect the lead single.. and WB is the only song produced by will which I guess is good.

That's what I was expecting.

Proper old school pop hip hop but this is simply made for the clubs.

Its not really a new sound either it reminds me of every dance song that was released in 2004.....Barr Cray Frog and Nadia Almada.

That's what I was thinking aswell.

Look at P!nk with her Miss!undaztood album (Text talk 2001 whoop!)...Lead single was Get The Party Started which was pure cheese then the album was total acoustic/rock pop/angst and ****ing brilliant.

Personal, lyrically brilliant.

Can we expect this from Britneys new album or just another blast it out when your getting ready to go clubbing album?

Saph 15-09-2013 10:22 PM

Theres been a lot of talk of this being her most personal album and no autotune etc etc so hopefully wb will be a one off :p either way this song is fierce and i'll still be buying my 500 copies :dazzler:

LOL.

I'll be buying my copy simply because I cant believe "Till The World Ends" didn't even get top 20 in the UK when it smashed it in the US.

Cant wait to see the live performance.

Hopefully just a simple but pumping dance routine.

Saph 15-09-2013 10:43 PM

yeah.. the FF era flopped so hard in the UK :/ hopefully this one will be more successful

daniel-lewis-1985 15-09-2013 10:57 PM

This song does inspire me to work harder though.

They should play it in school assembleys lol.

Vanessa 16-09-2013 04:30 AM

I love anything that she does. She's so sassy! can't wait to hear the new album! :amazed:

Debuted at #6 on the Billboard 100 this week

Quote:

Britney Spears' "Work B**ch!" debuts at No. 6 with 174,000 downloads. It's the first single from her forthcoming studio album, due in December. Comparably, her last album's first single, "Hold It Against Me," launched with 411,000 in January 2011.
not too bad considering the lack of promo, hopefully it will have longevity

Me Against the Music debuted at #50, Slave 4 U at #68, Gimme More at #80 and Womanizer at #98

Smithy 25-09-2013 09:41 PM

12 on the hot 100, 6 on the digital song charts :p

Vanessa 25-09-2013 09:48 PM
