Last season the Vice president threatened the president and kidnapped Olivia because he knows she's precious to him. He basically wants the pres to go to war in Angola we don't know why yet :shrug:

But last night's episode was all about Kerry and how she's surviving during her imprisonment. It really was like a movie. But it's not over yet, next week they get her to read their demands, you know like extremists get their prisoners to read their demands on camera.
It's a totally new direction for scandal but people seem to love it.
