Wasn't Edna one of the favourites to be killed off? Maybe the producers knew that Marcia wasn't very well and planned this as the way to write the character out.

Very sad news though it has to be said :(

They had another tribute to Mrs. Krabappel.

Ned was having a daydream about Tangoing with her and then he said "I'm going to miss her", Nelson was watching him from the window, he first does his iconic laugh and then said "I'm going to miss her too".

Basically they officially killed her off. :(

Yeah, but that's not really the same and dare I say disrespectful to the actress who voiced the character for 25 years.

Oh I Forgot they used previously recorded audio in Ned's Daydream Sequence for Edna.

The whole tribute was a nice thing to see
