It's often a release for people waiting for loved ones waiting to die. Death is inevitable, and waiting for a loved one to die can be very very draining. So much so, it is a relief when they finally die. |

Nelson Mandela, someone who gave the finest examples of conviction, endurance and patience, no matter what strife he had to go through.
Definitely a human being who should never be forgotten and one of the rare people who actually deserves his place in greatness as to history. R.I.P. |

As the TV eulogise Nelson Mandela now, let no-one forget Nelson Mandela went to jail in 1964, and stayed there for 26 years, until 1990. Let no-one forget what went on in between. Britain went on trading with South Africa, like nothing was wrong. Some people took individual stances, refusing to trade, but the British govt. carried on trading, for all of 26 years after his arrest, with South Africa.

The world is a better place for having had him in it. Alav ha-shalom, rest in pace.

News "Literally no other leader has had to face the challenges that he has"
You're durn ****ing skippy!! He was a great man, if you're going to really take a look back at what he did. Yes he and Obama are both the first black presidents of a nations, but stop there that's the only similarity. Obama is nowhere near Nelson's league :bawling: Oh hearing lady smith Black Mambonzo made me tear up. |
He lived such a full life and improved the world
