My mom always told me it was the baby Jesus who left presents, so I don't think I ever really believed in Santa. Maybe I did though and jug don't remember.

7 I think.
I remember my mum watching BB live feed when I was around 9 and they were discussing it, and I asked her what they were talking about and she 'revealed' it to me but I was like "yeah course I know" :joker: |
0 seconds old; I've grown up knowing that my family (not Santa) gives stuff to me and I give stuff to them.
|
I was quite young, my mother couldn't get a babysitter and she had to do Christmas shopping so she just took me with her and let me pick whatever toys I wanted, that was actually my best Christmas, I was around 7.
|
I never did, I believed in the tooth fairy though (until my mum epically failed)
|
I never believed in anything like that.
|
..I have no idea..around 35yrs, I think...
|
I was quite young...the curse of have an older vindictive brother....I wasn't that bothered though as I was terrified of Father Christmas...I used to make my dad go downstairs and check he had gone before I would venture down on Christmas day
|
I was 4, I was told then because I was terrified of even the thought of Santa Claus. I wouldn't go near him in Stores with my Mum and Grandmother, I wouldn't talk to him and was really scared of the thought of him bringing presents.
I once said could they just lock all the doors and make it that he couldn't get in,only to be told by a neighbour that you cannot keep him out, if all entries are locked,he has loads of little elves that can get through the keyholes and open the door for him. I was literally petrified at that thought. I even said I didn't want any presents when I was 4 so would they tell him not to come. So my Mum told me the truth and I was really happy, it was a case of not being able to sleep on christmas eve for the wrong reasons, once I knew the truth,I slept very happily. I laugh at it all now but as a young child, I was very unhappy to say the least at the thought of Santa Claus. |
I think I was 8, one of my brothers said I bet you I can find some of the xmas presents and I said 'NO, PRESENTS ARE FROM SANTA' he then showed me some he had already found that were in my parents wardrobe

I was though really, for some reason, scared to death as to the idea of him. |
I think I was about 9, there was a boy in my class whose dad was from Armenia and his mum was a devout Christian, so between them they had a no nonsense attitude towards telling the truth about Christmas and what it was really about, so as you can imagine he came sprinting into school one day and was declaring Santa wasn't real, and I was a smart kid so I figured he wasn't lying and it all made sense so I came home and asked my mum who tried to play it off and eventually she admitted he wasn't real because I was clearly being serious and asking a question
|
The hardest thing to process is the fact your parents have lied to you. Ultimate betrayal :bored:
I think I was about 6 when I realised. I was awake on Christmas Eve and I heard my dad going into the loft and bringing black bags of presents down. |
I never really bought into any of that. Even when I was really small, I didn't understand why Santa was sending me presents on behalf of someone else, and the labels were always written in the peoples writing.
