Yeah, I consider WFL part of the 18 Months era tbf. :idc:

Not such a fan now because it was overplayed, but at the time I can remember thinking Sweet Nothing was the best thing i'd ever heard.

Dats my order.

Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch)
We Found Love (feat. Rihanna)
I Need Your Love (feat. Ellie Goulding)
Feel So Close
Let's Go (feat. Ne-Yo)
Bounce (feat. Kelis)
Thinking About You (feat. Ayah Marar)
We'll Be Coming Back (feat. Example)
Drinking from the Bottle (feat. Tinie Tempah)

No it doesn't really matter.

But you, sir, are wrong.

it was the debut song. for another album. and THEN placed on this one. it's a different album's single. it's not 18 months' single.

lily. 08-01-2014 08:33 PM

Calvin Harris wrote it. Therefore it's Calvin Harris' song.

WFL is overrated anyway, can you all stop doing the most

 Its a modern classic.

lily. 08-01-2014 08:36 PM

I don't like it. But then again, I don't like Rihanna. I don't like her voice. I think she's nasal and whiny.

Definitely.
Went off it for a bit when it was everywhere but heard it at NYE and loved it again.

But it's on his album too so surely it does count as a single from 18 months; it's not like Rihanna had her album out when she released it either

 Turn Me On was on Nicki Minaj's album, doesn't mean it was a single from Roman Reloaded, she was a featured artist on it

It's kinda the same, WFL was a calvin feature from a rihanna song, that he just put on his album to fill the space

reece(: 08-01-2014 08:43 PM

All this reaching to get Rihanna included :joker:

Shaun 08-01-2014 08:43 PM

no, but she was billed as the lead artist and it was billed as the debut single from it. If he wants to go and shove it on his album a year after because it sold, then fine, but it doesn't make it a single released from 18 Months, it's a single released and then put on it.

reece(: 08-01-2014 08:44 PM

I Need Your Love was on Ellie's album but didn't count as a single~

Talk about splitting hairs  did Calvin himself not include it in his ramblings about how 'he' had had so many top ten hits in a row? Doesn't really matter anyway

Yeah, but that's cause he's a featured artist, it's like rihanna, she has 14 in the US but if it was down to her solo stuff i think she'd only have like 5
