Maybe she looks haggard because she watched her sister die of cancer and she has also gone through cancer treatment herself.

I find it difficult to respect a person who achieved a fair level of success only to throw it all away. It is also curious that Linda's family do not seem to be helping her through her difficulties.

I find Jim difficult to like and need to examine my beliefs to understand why this is so. He is doing some good and some bad in the house.

Do you mean her financial difficulties? She might be a very proud person who doesn't want to accept handouts from her siblings, or maybe they are not in a position to help her?

I think the quote is 'I lost it when my husband died' Clearly Linda did not take the time to make sure money matters were looked after and the other family members did not or could not keep a protective eye out for her. Helping her out financillay would not help her in the long run.

I don't want to come across unsympathetic to the issue but I doubt it has, she was a miserable, bitter,bad temepered and nasty individual while Colleen was in the house and Linda appeared on bbbots.
She actually,to be fair, was different and more warm when she first went in the house but has at the first opportunity shown her true colours as far as I'm concerned.

I think her and Colleen are actually 2 really awful people,I try to look for the good in all people usually but from all I have seen and heard of those 2, I see nothing at all.
