This rainbow diet doesn't look safe http://anabootcamp.weebly.com/rainbow-diet.html :suspect:

696 calories a week? Even eating 1000 calories a day starves your body and is not recommended

but then again you did only do it for one week a month

Yeah, my goal was originally 8 stone but I wanted to drop a bit more so I can gain a little if I want and still be a comfortable weight.

Amy Jade 10-01-2014 11:32 PM

Thanks Chuck and Leon

Amy Jade 10-01-2014 11:37 PM

Salman yeah I don't even recommend it, it's a stupid diet but I was getting too comfortable on slimming world and started maintaining so I started the rainbow one at the start of the month to get me going for the rest of the month and it worked for me.

My mum and me and quite short so it looked massive on me, I might post a picture some other time. I wasn't like obese but I looked really chubby and it showed a lot of my legs and thighs and my face.

I want to lose 2 stones by June! I'm **** at motivating myself though :/ plus I adore food plus I hate all forms of exercise! :(

Z 11-01-2014 12:30 AM

Well done SH! That's really great :) I've managed to drop 7KGs in the last 4 months, would quite like to lose another 7KG. According to every piece of information I've looked at I'm within the healthy weight boundary for my height but weight is just sitting on my stomach and chest, it's really weird; I've got skinny legs and I'm really top heavy so like you I think losing a bit more weight would look better on me, I don't have the frame for a big body.

Jords 11-01-2014 01:37 AM

Congrats!

Edit: just worked that out actually, 7.5 stone, too thin imo.

Depends on your height though, SH says she's quite short and being 9 stone didn't suit her frame - one of my female friends at school was 4'11 and had massive boobs and was about 7 stone it made her look enormous when in reality she was... 7 stone, which is nothing. Meanwhile one of my best friends is 6'3 and only 9 stone something, but he's tall and lanky so he's not dangerously underweight, it's really weird how weight distribution works...

Have you got any friends who might like to go walking with you? That was a huge help to me, one of my friends or my auntie or Mum would walk up to a castle where I live through the woods. It's a good way but it's fun especially now I have a dog to take, I love taking her so it's turned from a job to something I really enjoy.

Also it sounds reaaallly stupid but I have a sheet of paper on my bedroom door telling me to stay positive. It's hard, I felt like giving up all the time but I thought of the good points, I get compliments now from people rather than being called a whale or a fat bitch and I can wear anything I want and feel confident in it. If you tell me what foods you like I could help you sort out some recipes too if that helps

It's not for my body shape, trust me. I take after my mum who's really short and looks heavier than she is.

Kizzy 11-01-2014 03:39 AM

I would say 6'3 and 9st is underweight is that a bloke?
Did you exercise too SH, better chance of keeping it off if you do.
I've lost loads this year, don't even know how much nearly 3st. Now I don't have a gall bladder it should be easier too as won't metabolise some of the fats in my diet.... they'll just pass on through :D

Ammi 11-01-2014 03:49 AM

...well done SH....it's not just the weight thing but that you've achieved something that you really focused on, that must make you feel so much more confident in yourself..?...

...I hope that you get a lovely dress today.....

Amy Jade 11-01-2014 08:21 AM

Yeah Kizzy I went to a gym twice a week and mostly went on the treadmill and rowing machine, well done loosing 3 stone, that's how much my mums target is she's just under half way now.

Yeah Ammi I am more confident, I'm wearing fitted clothes which used to be a big no no for me, My mum is taking me to buy a new dress to go to my uncles birthday I'll take a picture and show you actually.

Jake. 11-01-2014 10:30 AM

Well done!

I know how to do it... It's actually motivating myself to do it that's the problem.. Once I get my dieting head on I can do it well, but this time if year just makes me want to eat crap and lots if it!

Also finding time to exercise is a problem.. Last year (or maybe the one before) I was only working 2 or 3 days a week and was swimming a mile like 3 times a week, but I'm now working a lot more and literally have no bloody time!

Its my birthday soon and I have a couple of nights out planned.. So I think I'll actually set a date to get started and do it!!

Braden 11-01-2014 10:34 AM

Well done SH

A brilliant start to the new year.
