But he doesn't deal with stuff. He makes snide remarks then walks away. He tells people it's okay to do things then he moans about it and sits and sulks.
He could just have a quiet word with someone he has a problem with, but instead he likes to be snide and play the victim.

I disagree pal.

He tells them it's ok to do whatever they like, as it is. it is also ok for him to moan about them doing it..he does take himself away from the situation and just lets them get on with it..to me that's a good thing to do..who needs the hassle of some young idiots ranting at you..if anything he's being a bit victimised by the girls because of them taunting him about it.

But you don't mention that he started the whole thing by moaning about the noise and music being played into the house earlier in the evening. He was all FGS!!! and sitting grumpily in the garden while the other older ones bopped away with the young 'uns. He set himself up to be wound up.

But hey, Jim is always right. I know.

You would think a decent person would leave him alone.

Infact they are just doing exactly what you are moaning about jim doing..ie, moaning about jim being grumpy, yet wont leave him alone to get on with it (like jim does) instead they wind him up more so he gets more grumpy then they moan about him being grumpy all over again..hypocrites.

Why does he let them see that they are winding him up then? He's not stupid. Jim is milking it as it's the only way he's getting any air time. Without the girls, he has no storyline.

Beso 14-01-2014 01:38 PM

oh yeah, cause sitting in the garden while they are in bed is letting them see..!!

I had never realised you needed a "storyline" in BB..infact I cant remember any winner having a "storyline"..

Jims fine with or without the slappers in the house because top blokes personalities will always shine through.

By a storyline I mean exactly what is going on with Jim/Luisa/Jasmine right now or what is going on with Lee/Jasmine/Casey.
Something that gets you noticed and talked about.

Jim doesn't need noticed.he's a legend.

I think you have misunderstood me regarding letting them see...when they are right in your face then of course they will see that you're grumpy, which is why Jim kept walking away from them. For them to carry it on and winding him up on purpose is nasty, and if it was jim on them it would be put down as bullying.

To basically, on purpose, cause Jim to be grumpy, then make him more grumpy on purpose, then nominate him for you causing him to be grumpy is rank..

They are nothing more than poisonous nasty cows, who suck the life out of people.

it is though, I'm just commenting on what I see. I'd be the same with any housemate.

It takes 2 to tango. It isn't all the girls fault and it isn't all Jim's fault. The girls were annoying no doubt but they are young and having fun and Jim is a wind up merchant himself so he should be able to take it and laugh about it. Getting grumpier just encourages them.

I really don't get why people are blaming Linda on the other HM's not liking Jim or finding him miserable or argumentative .There was occasion they showed when he and Linda were having a row and it showed Linda talking to some of the other HM's on the bed.

I actually think Jim would be the first to admit he was all of those things.I thought Sam's nom was very telling when she said that although Jim had not offended her personally she didn't like the way he makes snide remarks at Linda.Of course we won't be shown any of that.I think Jim /Linda /Luisa and Jasmine are all as bad as each other ..really don't get how other HM's not liking Jim can be blamed on Linda.

Yes, he did crack the odd smile. I think he is milking it and secretly enjoying it a little bit.

True, but Jim has been 62 for the last 28 years. He's mentally older than Lionel.
