That doesn't sound plausible there must be more to her hate of him then him knowing something about her husband and by all accounts it's obviously not a big secret if her husband was charged for it

Jim just reminded her that she is not so pious and should be careful mudslinging.

If she actually did anything of any entertainment value i would cur her some slack but she is very poor value.

Oh Good. At least now I know not to take your posts seriously as your defense is based on how entertaining the person is.

I feel that there must be a lot more to this story, I really don't think what we think we know would cause Linda to be upset - so her husband stole some money a few decades ago - that's surely not why she hates Jim, who at best was a third party in all of that, and that's surely not the full story?

Because Frank Carson was Jims friend and it happened at Jims show and they had a big bust up in a pub and there is still bad blood between them(from what i can make out).

Everyone is trying to make this about Jim slating her dead hubby, its not. Its about Jim outing why she hated him. Jim must have been either instrumental in getting him done or he argued and took him to task in a pub and Linda had Jim evicted and hates him for it.

Jim haters are spinning it foe what its worth when its all about Lindas hate=red and why, not Jim slating her dead hubby

Ok, that makes a little more sense I guess, still though that would make Lindas husband more in the wrong still, wouldn't it?

I'm guessing that as Jim was a big friend of Frank Carson's he had a fair bit to say about it at the time...

Yeah, justified though if someone had stole from his friend

I suppose we don't know how bad this argument was,Also Lindas husband got arrested,Maybe she blamed him for this and has just never let it go.It could have been a particularly nasty argument.Who knows?

The house breaks people I don't know whey we expect Jim to be some sort of super hero who takes it all on the chin and doesn't retaliate, it was a low blow, and as soon as it was out he wanted to retract it, but Linda is not an innocent bystander in all this as is being protrayed in some quarters.

exactly!!! I'm not a jim fan but she is jumping down his throat all the time and wont let it go :nono:

£20 out of Frank Carsons wallet.
He was taken to court and pleaded guilty.
I don't think anybody knows anything else about it beyond that.
What made him do it etc.

Maybe he needed the money for drink to soften the pain of going to bed with that hag of a wife.

Jims friend Frank Carson is also dead, maybe he is hurt about that ,maybe he has those kinds of morals that its wrong to steal.Who knows ,but she shouldn't have riled him so much imo.

flamingGalah! 17-01-2014 12:06 PM

And stupid cow Linda having a go to Jim saying he was bringing up Frank Carson & her dead husband, when he was only trying to figure out what it was that made the silly old bitch hate him so much! Unbelievable... :joker:

Another spot on comment. I watched, in annoyance, everytime Linda had a go at Jim, picking him up on any remark or conversation he was having and trying to ridicule him at every opportunity. She pushed him into a corner and then couldn't handle it when he revealed a secret to indicate that miss Nolan is not the goody two shoes that she is trying to make herself out to be. A typical case of "you can dish it but can't take it." I'm 100% with Jim on this and I don't think he should have apologised.

Why are you and the other anti Jim people judging him on what Linda's hubby did.?

Well in that case judging purely on what we've seen in the house, Linda has been pushing Jim throughout and he snapped (once) at her and brought up her thieving hubby.

It's not really because as far as I can tell nobody is judging him on what Linda's hubby did they are judging him on how he tried to rile and embarrass Linda with a low blow, then lied about it and tried to shift the blame to Luisa.

Linda also lied about Jim. He never called her an asshole. :suspect:

I bet she won't say sorry for this. All the housemates think that Jim called Linda an asshole, when it's not true.

Then Jim should put her straight and tell her what he said, when it's all calmed down and get it confirmed by whoever was in the garden at the time. She'd say sorry then.

I think he'd rather let her keep repeating it as it makes her look ridiculous.
