The audience reaction to Lionel 's comment fazed Jasmine as well! :D

:joker: That video is class

Jasmine can handle that old coot but whats she going to do, yell at an 84 year old man on tv? she did well to not go back at him, at least he was honest

CaudleHalbard 19-01-2014 12:51 PM

Jasmine can't handle anything. She is used to being lusted after and getting away with things because of her appearance.

She was called out and couldn't cope - not even with a witty comeback!

It was hilarious & Jasmine behaved like an immature stroppy teenager, sitting there with a face like a slapped arse :joker:

Frankly they were great TV together. I had a good laugh and smiled at the way they were forgiving and smiling at the end.

It was very funny she looked scared to death she moved her chair away from him.

I don't like her but she has a good point which he kept glossing over.

She wasn't asking why he was irritated by her or what she'd done, she knew, she was asking why he didn't say it to her instead of pretending everything was fine.

He says it was because he didn't know her at that point, but that didn't stop him venting in the diary room etc so that excuse doesn't wash.

Lionel's just extremely hypocritical and I think sometimes forgot that people saw everything as evidenced with the whole chocolate thing where it was entirely Luisa's fault and he took no blame once the punishments came out.

The whole "say everything to everyone's face" spiel is a fallacy purported by rude people unable to keep their own counsel and constantly seeking conflict and drama, so as to make their high-expressed-emotion and rudeness the social norm, instead of finding a more mature ground of diplomacy, where people live and let live despite detesting aspects of one anothers' characters. If I cannot stand someone, I do not HAVE to tell them a damned thing. I owe them nothing and I have better things to do with my time than debate who is wrong/right. I may greatly enjoy slating them to a close friend or may offer my opinion if asked, but if they demand I demean myself by being rude and arguing as this is what they enjoy, they can **** right off.

I'm not saying you need to tell someone every little thing you think about them to cause conflict.

Jasmine pointed out she could feel tension between them and asked him directly if she'd upset him or if he had any problem with her. His response was everything's fine and dandy, I love you etc etc. Then proceeded to slag her off whilst her back was turned. Which is very different and out of order.
