To blame this game on the behaviour of kids is ****ing hilarious. It's the parents you should be criticising for allowing their children to access such adult material so young. The 18 rating is there for a reason. It's not Rockstar's ****ing fault if people don't pay attention.

Yes So True

I'm quite shocked they haven't investigated those 'rape' games further. It seems like a bad idea to just stick them under the 'blame video games umbrella'. Most games don't tend to have sexual content let alone anything interactive out of fear of backlash so it's obvious the rape stuff is coming from a darker place.

There is no rape in GTA.

But the sounds of it then, the kids are acting out rapes that they've seen somewhere else.

Social services should get involved.

Even if the kids are talking about drugs they don't know what they're talking about really.

I would guess they're acting out what they've seen in games like GTA (i.e. someone paying to have sex with someone else) but because it's not consensual, it's obviously inappropriate/an attempted rape. Kids shouldn't be allowed to play adult games, watch adult films or watch adult television...

eh? paying for sex is consent.

Updated with a more detailed article from the Mirror.

I'm sorry, but while I don't agree with the behaviour, it's not the game that's to blame. It's the parents for not doing their research before buying a 6 year old an 18 rated game. I wish people would stop blaming the game!

The children didn't seem to be doing any actions on the article I read either so unless I'm mistaken GTA is getting the blame for kids swearing and making gun noises?:joker: Classic from the boring people that do not know how to have fun, and let's face it these kids was going to learn swear words, gun noises, and sexual terms eventually so it's not like they've actually hurt anyone is it?

How ridiculous as there is no rape scenes in GTA V. The sex is consensual.

Parents are to blame if they let their kids play on the game, when it is clearly 18+ and then they are quick to blame the game as the main reason if their child plays up when they shouldn't be playing it in the first place!

GTA has always and stressed to people playing on it that the behaviour you see is wrong.

But the problem with kids these days are that they are smarter and are advanced in technology and any young relations they have that like to play on games then they will take an interest in what is happening too even if you try and stop them LOL.

I've played on GTA games since III and knew back then that the behaviour was wrong, still it is fun to play on as long as you are in tune with reality.
