Something New Labour run scared of.

arista 22-02-2014 04:13 PM

Moyles needs to Come Out of his home
and give a Statement.

Jimmy Carr did.

King Gizzard 22-02-2014 04:13 PM

(I wasn't agreeing that the priority should be the welfare system)

What does Chris Moyles' greed have to do with who's in power? Absolutely nothing. He was also doing it when the Tories were in power. It has absolutely no bearing on the fact he was trying to dodge taxes.

So have the Tories and the Lib Dems? It's clearly not a priority for any political party.

13 years is longer
than 3 years

Fixing such a loophole would not take a matter of years. The time spent in power is irrelevant.

Kizzy 23-02-2014 05:48 PM

I would bet more of these loopholes have come into existance in the last 3 years.

At some point or another, labour has to stop being blamed for things the tories have done/have not done. I fear the day that comes, aristas hard drive will just fry.

True. In the USA Obama is taking flack for Bushes shortcomings so we need to stop talking about a government that hasnt been in power for almost four years,

No need to bloody swear!
Where is the evidence all tax fiddles originated in 2008?

Vicky. 23-02-2014 09:28 PM

When it emerged in 2012 he had used the same legal offshore scheme as comedian Jimmy Carr, who was paying as little as 1 per cent, Moyles claimed it would breach his human rights if he could not keep his membership secret.

Love this bit though

InOne 23-02-2014 09:33 PM

At least Moyles entertains unlike the anonymous fat cats who suck the country dry with things like this. Might be a bit bias as he's from Leeds but my opinion still stands.

Kizzy 23-02-2014 09:36 PM

I'm from Leeds not bias either, I think he's a knob :), but the article does say there were another 450 celebs on the scheme too... bit unfair he gets all the flak.

InOne 23-02-2014 09:37 PM

Why is he a knob? I mean is it just for this or did you think that before lol

Vicky. 23-02-2014 09:59 PM

Jimmy carr and gary barlow had all the flack last year despite loads of them being at it. About time it shifted to someone else

Hope this means he'll finally have to get his arse back to radio where he belongs, not as a TV presenter, actor or extra in cookery programmes

He looks so different these days D:
