Playstation/PS2/Tamagotchi/Scoubidous/a scooter/light-up trainers were the only things I had & the only things I needed

We did have a sega mega drive but that was before my time. My brothers also had a cat before I was born which is not fair

You weren’t that spoilt. You were given cool toys for birthdays and Christmases, but you didn’t get everything you asked for. It all worked out, though, because it means you were grateful for what you did have.

Also they still do dream phones except instead of a brick it's a flip phone

OMFG I remember phlat balls!

What is nice is that in some places kids play outdoors with the latest toys. Here is a pic I took in Cork, Southern Eireland a few years back when the metal hoop arrived there. I bet when playstations and xboxes arrive there many years in the future they will still play outside. Good for them

You were pretty spoilt. Your parents drew the line at a tree house and a climbing frame, but you had loads of other cool stuff to make up for it. Lucky you.

You ticked off 20 out of 100 on this list!

You weren’t spoilt at all. Your parents refused to buy you everything you asked for, which meant that you had to spend a lot of time at your friends’ houses playing with their toys. But that’s OK; it just meant you didn’t become a materialistic adult

I used to play with sticks that looked vaguely like guns and look for porn in hedgerows

I once stumbled across porn in a hedge once

What on earth is "Southern Eireland"? I don't think any place goes by that name. If you mean Ireland then just call it by its name; "Ireland", or "Republic of Ireland" if you want to be formal. :nono:

NO

Eireland is the new Euro name that has to be used to separate it from the England run Northern part.

There's already something to separate them, they have different names; Ireland and Northern Ireland. :nono:

Are you just upset because you never got one?

Maybe we should do a TiBB version of Dream Phone?

"OMG, Sophie, your secret admirer likes life in the fast lane and is hanging out at AsdaWalmart, I wonder who it could be?.
