Year 7 residential trip. The year could decide whether they want to go to Rutland Water, London, Snowdonia or America (football-related).
I originally was set on London because a) its London b) its relatively close and c) but its not close like Rutland Water.
Anyway my friend (at the time) convinced me to go to Snowdonia. BEST DECISION EVER.
I mean I was pretty fat at the time and found the whole experience absolutely shattering but it was so much fun. We did canoeing, kiyaking, raft-building, rock climbing, an adventure path and then the day before the last we climbed Mt Snowdon. Was a great feeling being stood on top! The adventure path was absolutely torture though and we did that the evening before, so I did actually try and get out of climbing Mt Snowdon because I thought Id generally wouldnt be able to cope... but the teacher convinced me otherwise "its a lifetime opportunity blah blah" and it ended up actually being alright  ... that adventure path though... ****.
Funny story. Because I was that much bigger than other people, when our team built our raft everytime I got on the raft would turn over and wed all keep falling in the river :joker: Couldnt stop laughing. So in the end I had to get on first and balance everybody with my weight and turn the raft by leaning either left or right... yepp proud moment... I was known as the 'steering wheel'.
