B'Day is genuinely one of the greatest albums of all time
I used to think Irreplaceable was overrated but I'm in love with it now |
Because they've ran out of ideas.

Just wait for Rihanna to return, she's a hit factory. People were bored with her so she took the cue and went away for a year, she'll be back with a smash hit that gets people talking soon enough. I've always been of the opinion that Beyonce's material is pretty dull, she just brings it to life on the stage because she's a phenomenal performer. Katy Perry and Lady GaGa clearly don't understand what people like/d about them, because if they did they'd be replicating the success they had with their last campaigns. I think they just kind of got a little bit lucky with how much their careers blew up and now that they're established artists they suddenly don't have a clue how to keep the momentum going. Are there really any others on their level? Britney Spears is a part time popstar who at this point it just feels like people support ironically. Christina Aguilera will keep doing features on other people's records because it's the only way people will buy anything with her voice on it.

I think that if Xtina hadn't of gotten pregnant, this year would have been the time to make and release an album. She's been everywhere recently so it might have paid off

People weren't bored with Rihanna, Diamonds & Stay were both hits and Una hit #1 UK and stateside

Right Now could have been a smash but Rihanna gets lazy af after like two singles
|
that's because the era went messy, it was her own fault/her management for not doing any promo or being consistent with singles/MVs
up until that point it was doing really well, likewise to the first few months of TTT. it's nothing to do with the public being bored |

I honestly don’t see rihanna being as big this era, by the sounds of it her label are trying to milk her for all she’s worth by dropping 2 LP’s in a year, it’ll just confuse everyone and the whole thing’ll just be another big mess
|
well people said that after GGGB then Loud happened, then people said that she peaked with Loud but We Found Love happened

Yeah but that was with an LP, if she drops a single in sept then her soundtrack album comes out followed by her actual album a month later, it's just gonna be messy af
|
Rihs a single artist so as long as they do well then I'm sure management will be happy
|
well 5/7 of Unapologetic's singles have done pretty... well, ****
|
Diamonds and stay are two of the biggest selling songs ever :{}

I said bored, not "she started flopping" - it was a running joke that Rihanna was just constantly releasing music, so she stopped for a while.
|
Stay pressed when Rih's next big EDM hit slays all the other females
