omg i was using tapatalk for the first time this morning when I posted that and I just saw a notification right now saying that you quoted me. :joker: oops

Jay. 26-04-2014 08:55 PM

Probably a little cheeky because I've only been on the forum for about a week haha, but maybe the ability to '@' tag people and then they get a notification? They had it on another forum I used to use, it worked well!

I also like the like button idea and the notification from quotes, would make things a bit easier

This would be so useful. I hate posting an image and it coming up bloody giant then having to edit and sort it out but you never do it fast enough so everyone sees how much of a fail you are

I had a quick look for the quote notifications addon earlier and could only find one for a different version of the forum software, not sure if that's something James would be able to sort out.

This has already been proven as untrue so lets stop saying it to cause drama Tom.

T* 26-04-2014 09:05 PM

Josy I'm not using it to create drama, Sorry if you think I am; But i'm literally not.
I know I seem like i'm acting stupidly and bratty but i'd like it if there were more things (suggestions) implemented.

On a serious note though, things have been added in the past and will continue to be providing they are good ideas AND will run alongside the forum software well and without causing problems.

I dont think people realise how much even little changes kill the forum tbh. Even seemingly 'nothing' things like name changes cause massive lags, and then people moan about the lags. I'm sure you all remember how horrific the forum was for the xmas name changes, and when they were changed back.

Hell..I killed the forum once for 6 hours from just doing an IP check...

There is a minimum age, it's 13, not what I would describe as adult.

InOne 28-04-2014 01:37 PM

Has it always been 13? It seems a bit weird because BB in the early days was never targeted at the 13 year olds.

13 seems to be the standard minimum age for forums/social media etc (apart from porn type stuff)
