I think it might be white pudding, and it won't have fried bread or hash browns, thats about it I think!

Fried bread and hash browns are the best part of a breakfast, lots of places often won't have them though

InOne 24-05-2014 10:18 AM

I thought hash browns were American

MTVN 24-05-2014 10:25 AM

Oh yeah they are apparently, never knew that

Ninastar 24-05-2014 10:41 AM

I have a half English/half Hebrew... ie: no bacon. Do love a fry up sometimes.

Rarely ever have one, I do when in Scotland as I always feel hungrier there, however I love the square sausage that Josy mentioned, it tastes different to me.

One thing I couldn't have on the plate however is black pudding, I loved it as a kid until I was told what it was.

I remember having some kind of white putting at breakfast in Scotland. I have no idea what it was, but it was lovely.

[2] I prefer most of it in a sandwich

That's what I end up doing with the toast

Black Dagger 24-05-2014 11:51 AM

I don't like mushrooms, eggs (very much), tomatoes and I don't like beans early in the morning... so essentially it becomes sausage and bacon with a slice of toast and that is hardly a full english is it?

Bull semen.

Ramsay 24-05-2014 12:02 PM

I can only base my decision on an irish breakfast but yes that too is overrated

I thought white pudding was a yorkshire thing, with oats and some other gubbins? Offal... why would anyone choose to eat it?

You British, first you steal our land, now our white pudding, where will it all end :fist:

Crimson Dynamo 24-05-2014 01:21 PM

mmmmmm black pudding/white pudding

smeagol 25-05-2014 01:26 PM

The only problem i have with it is i dont like half of it lol so if i ever do eat out and have it i just end up with one silly sausage a bit of scraggy bacon and a soggy egg lol

jackc1806 25-05-2014 01:36 PM

Had one this morning, was delightful

Alf 25-05-2014 03:12 PM

I'd eat it three times a day if I could, but I'd be dead.

And bubble and squeek kicks the butt of a hash-Brown and any Scottish potato cake.

Crimson Dynamo 25-05-2014 03:31 PM

pie and liquor is the ticket
