I did prefer last year's launch, I took to the mix of housemates straight away.

And also outside of some of the weird clothes they wore, I didn't think last year's was much of a freak show at all.

I'm not going to write off this year's series but it hasn't grabbed me in the same way I was last year, hopefully it just takes a few more days. We'll see.

We need some freaks to counter the schemers and businesspeople

Only just been able to watch bit on the side. From seeing a bit more about the housemates they do now seem more interesting. Maybe I judged too soon. I think Chris is going to be one of my favourites

He has potential but I'm not sure if I just like him because he reminds me of Aaron or not :joker:

Hard to be under or over whelmed in less than a day.

On first impressions i really don't like many of the housemates, the only genuine one seems to be Helen for me so far, hopefully tonights bunch will be a case of safe the best for last

It just felt like, for the first time in a long time, the launch had one purpose- getting the housemates in and the first twist started. Thankfully all the crap had been cut out, so whilst it wasn't as interesting, it was purposeful. And maybe its not something to use when basing your opinion on the 10 week series that's to follow!

Hopefully there's 6 freaks going in tonight to make up for it.

I liked it

I just think the production was on the ball last night, they got straight to it and kept it pretty simple without dragging it out. But yeah we need freaks and more oldies :')

Still love the show and will continue to watch it but last night I was fairly bored. There wasn't a stand out housemate and I thought Pauline was just over hyped and it'll soon calm down and she probably won't even reach the final.

Last year as soon as I saw Sallie, Gina, Dexter, Wolfy etc they all seemed very different and when they entered they stood out. This year all their VTs seemed too similar.

I'm hoping for some diversity tonight and hope the show picks up.

Yes I was, I am hoping for a better range of housemates in the 6 going in tonight.
