Yea
I looked up to him definately, he taught me that animals like sharks arent scary, they are just made to look bad by films etc

MarkWaldorf 04-09-2006 04:58 PM

Im listening to a song that reminds me of this matter

(Its not rude, its a sad song)

Pipergun 04-09-2006 05:01 PM

Its so sad to hear about this. But like many others have said, he went out with a bang, which is, i'm sure what he'd have wanted. R.i.p.

Lil-Lindz 04-09-2006 05:07 PM

Yea, only 3 people have ever been killed by a stingray, steve being the 3rd

It was such an unfortunate and unlikely event, its a shame it happened

Corkie 04-09-2006 05:12 PM

steve was part of the wild he was a mad man but everyone loved him for that he might of been a dare devil but im sure he will he will be in heaven and looking at his short but very eventful life

i know!
but what i find unusual is that he works with crocs and snakes- which are dangerous
but he's killed by an animal that's graceful and looks harmless

texbex 04-09-2006 05:45 PM

I didnt really watch his shows but what I did see of them was remarkable and for someone to have the guts to actually get up close with dangerous creatures is something to be proud of.It was a complete shock to me though when I seen the news on GMTV this morning I was in complete shock and I feel so sorry for his wife and kids

I was really shocked to hear this on the news I loved his programmes and he was a charismatic and enthusiastic man especially when it came to animals. He made it alot more fun and entertaining to many kids and adults.

My condolences to his family xx

RIP, i remember watching his shows, the guy was a legend.

Dan_ 04-09-2006 11:11 PM

I posted in the other thread but that got wayyyy off track.

I always enjoyed watching Steve's programmes and they taught me a lot about nature and it was all done in a fun and entertaining way, he was a daredevil but always seemed a real nice guy.

RIP.

Lauren 04-09-2006 11:30 PM

I enjoyed watching his programs - his enthusiasm for life was infectious. He was a passionate environmentalist and really cared about what he did. He will be missed.
