Even people with an low IQ would know that calling HM's names and being nasty with reckless abandon NEVER wins you the BB crown.
Her stupidity and/or arrogance is astounding. This is the women with a pass to the final? Well done Pauline. Your pick suits your mindset to a tee.

...hmmm you might be right Jet, she might just be stupid but I don't think so..I think she behaves as she does because of her free pass and because it has given her 'nothing to lose' type thing..she would be stupid to then just sit back and do nothing/not be noticed and become invisible and I think she's smart enough to know that negative 'airtime' will most likely be shown..I don't think for a lot of housemates, it's the actual winning and the prize money because that's not even guaranteed anymore with twists etc...it's more getting noticed/talked about and staying in as long as they can for that to happen...the staying in longer bit is already guaranteed for her so then she just had to do the 'talked about' bit, which I think is what she has done since she got the free pass...I'm not saying I like her or anything but I do think her bitchy behaviour could be exaggerated and somewhat contrived and that's because she is aware and not stupid..?...

Helen is rotten to the core.

Pauline does hold back, she is not true to herself, probably hates herself

Helen is just a bit thick but I reckon if you argued with her you could call her all the names under the sun but next day, probably make up and get on

Not with the bitter old witch however...

AnnieK 14-06-2014 07:42 AM

I think Helen is being totally herself....and that is exactly how she acts in RL. To a certain extent so is Pauline...but I think she surrounds herself with people who agree with her because she cannot deal with any form of criticism or confrontation. Helen, in her own way was comforting Pauline by insulting the crowd, she won't have thought how it comes across.

Where do you think she has come from? She is clearly a fan of the show (as they all are), she's not from some alien race that were especially beamed down to appear on the show. She would have been sat there last year moaning about Dexter or Sam or Jackie, the same as you or I were. This is just her humour, and indicative of where she's from and the attitudes and humour people have in different regions. She probably had a nose bleed thinking of having to go to 'that London'.

For example, I could say or do something that local people would fall about laughing at; whereas someone from middle england would be outraged by it.

I'm just waiting for her to call them southern nancies, that'll go down well. :joker:

BB IS ALIVE 14-06-2014 09:43 AM

The people who go down there are probably the biggest Big Brother fans there are, so people on here shouldn't consider disassociate themselves from the crowd, especially when many on TIBB (myself included) have gone down to many of the evictions. I thought everyone was praising the crowd last night for their reactions and for chanting "get pauline out"?

It really annoyed me when Helen and Ash called the crowd losers. Its like Hello if it wasn't for the dedicated fans of this show you wouldn't even be in there right now!

smeagol 14-06-2014 09:56 AM

just stick it on the list with all of her other hedious crimes. need that skank out of there

Jack_ 14-06-2014 09:59 AM

Not that I've watched the last two nights but the large majority of the crowd (apart from TiBB members that go and a few others) are scum. Nasty, ignorant scum that chant at people who don't deserve it and are so ****ing rude as to not listen to someone's interview.

They ruin the show and by the sounds of it I'm glad they were insulted.

Kizzy 14-06-2014 10:09 AM

The crowd are what makes an eviction, maybe the whole drama of it all causes such an over reaction in some?
I agree that they have at times spoiled my enjoyment of an interview due to chanting but I guess that's the nature of the beast.
I agree with annie, she was only trying to appease pauline by insulting the crowd.

rionablue 14-06-2014 10:25 AM

We cant get rid of Helen unfortunately but if the public have any sense they will pick off her followers one by one when they are hopefully up for eviction every week. That will show her !!!!

You make good points, but it beats me why any intelligent person would want to be noticed for being a absolutely vile cow. If she was smart surely she would see that being given a pass to the final gave her a excellent chance of winning by being entertaining without being so horrible. The prize money and media coverage are not to be sniffed at.
I guess she must be just another desperate fame *****. :notimpressed:

kistar 14-06-2014 11:53 AM

To be honest I think Helen and Ash were trying to make Tamara feel better after the crowd gave her a chorus of boos, her and Danielle were visibly nervous about having to face the crowd should they be evicted.

kistar 14-06-2014 11:56 AM

It's not really about being intelligent or not it's more about what's right in the moment, if your friend is about to do something scary you try and play the situation down to make them feel better.

LukeB 14-06-2014 11:58 AM

correction it she said it when jale was safe and she was trying to be nice to Danielle as she was upset hearing the boo's

I wasn't referring to that particular incident but her vile behaviour overall.

Any attention is better than no attention at all. Also she did apologise to Danielle so she knows she makes mistakes and she is willing to make amends.I think it must be tricky not to get caught up in the pack mentality of having a common enemy and re in forcing the solidarity of the group by going on about how much you dislike the enemy namely Christopher and Jale. Steven has said some nasty things about Jale and Christopher we just don't see it much.

She isn't caught up in a pack mentality - she created the pack and is the leader.

Helen can say what she likes. She has a place in the final.

Okay well deduced from an hours highlights every 24 hours that we know historically can be very one sided.

Well, we can only comment on what we see.

What do people in the crowd get for going to the evictions?? Losers :laugh::laugh:

What do you get for sitting at home watching the show?

It's obvious she said what she said simply because Tamara was booed. She'd be lapping it up if her crew were getting cheers. Why would you even go on BB if the whole idea of the crowd was so weird?

Not to mention that this is all coming from a woman prepared to spend 10 weeks of summer (as opposed to one evening) in a house.

A false sense of achievement and inclusion. Works for me.
