I find the word slut very degrading, I'm not impressed :bored:

I'm happy someone said that Loose Women is pretty sexist towards men. I do think that men say some pretty sexist stuff towards women and women do the same towards men as well. I just think that when women say stuff about men nobody cares but God forbid a man says something sexist he's a pig. The world we live in now.

I think the worst part was that he said something like "it's terrible for a bloke when his girlfriend's a slut".........aw, those poor guys!:facepalm:

I don't think that they were talking about women who like sex. All men love women who like sex. I just think they were referring to women who sleep around behind someone's back is all.

Don't make this into a battle of the sexes. Men and women are both capable of doing bad don't paint women out to be angels when you and I both know they are not. I'm in the military and I've seen men go out and cheat on their wives while there wives are at home taking care of their family. On the same token I've been deployed with men who came home to see that their wives spent all of the money that he earned on another man that they were cheating on him with. Both sound pretty horrible to me don't you think. Men and women are capable of the same evil.

I'm not the one who's calling Helen a "*****" when it's common knowledge that footballers, like Wayne Rooney who she was linked with, sleep around all the time and get injunctions to stop it ruining their reputation. Be more respectful of women. I'm not saying women aren't capable of cheating, but in a scenario where a man cheats on his wife, the person he cheated with gets the abuse

Unfortunately that's just how life is there are somethings that are more socially acceptable for men (sleeping around) than it is for women. Just like there are some things that are more acceptable for women (hitting men) to do than men. I'm not trying to say that it's right but it's something that will only change unless we change society to stop thinking the way it does about these issues.

I will admit that the part in bold is something I can't argue against. You're definitely right about that.

Slut shaming is a very unpleasant thing.

I think some of you are missing the point that a ***** is a prostitute, which is exactly what Helen Woods former occupation was according to whatI have read about her!

I am not saying cheater = ***** at all, although it is a despicable thing to do
