..I don't get the 'witch hunt' bit..as in not discussing it or judging things because we don't see the whole context..?..but they decide on the HL show and what is shown so if it is showing a housemate in a bad light in a situation then that's what they have decided they want to be discussed....

I think it ruins the concept of the show when there's no live feed.. cos the HMs aren't being watched 24/7 by anyone other than producers...

Which is why it is pretty pointless complaining as the viewers are manipulated as well.

Absolutely. We're only shown what the producers deem to be entertaining, and that will depend on who they want kept/evicted that week.

..hmmm, I wouldn't personally complain but if people feel strongly then why shouldn't they because the point is that BB have guided them in their complaints by deciding what they will show and how it's shown though....

I think the way we could have 24hr live feed is what makes BB totally different from most other tv shows, and it would be easy enough to set it up online and even give us a choice of which cameras we want to see footage from.

They don't want to do it and it has nothing to do with revenue.. it has everything to do with showing the stuff they want to show.

I guess it's okay to hate on housemates who you perceive as nasty but to throw about accusations of psychological bullying etc would require us knowing the fill extent of what's going on IMO.

..but they don't choose to show us the full context though and they show us HLs of psychological bullying..that's the thing though Salman..I can see what you're saying and it's always better to see the whole thing in these situations but BB have chosen these highlights and they choose them because that's what they want the public/fans/media etc to talk about...

..yeah I think you're probably right so when they do see 'topic' I guess you could say, I think they think..oh, that will be perceived as psychological bullying and that will create interest in the show so we'll go with that in the highlights..?..so then people discussing it and perceiving it that way can't be criticised because that's how it's all been lead by BB..and we can't really fill in the unknown blanks...

Regarding live feed.. The show doesn't struggle with sponsors so they could easily extend that online. Have an online 24/7 live feed, then either have it sponsored by a different company or Super Casino with adverts placed around the live stream. Or they could even have a live stream and an advert plays every 20 minutes. Sure it would be annoying but it's a small thing I'm sure we could live with.

There's just no real reason for no live feed. Broadcasting it on TV will cost more, having it online won't and it's easier to control. Just seems to be a case of C5 wanting the show to be manipulated to create a TOWIE like dramatic show and not being arsed to look into it. Shame really.
