None of the guys have done anything to be hated on bar him and Marlon though. Steven at a stretch too.

I know it's gonna sound like I'm picking on the ethnics here but Marlon and Mark offend me for different reasons, Marlon for being so aggressive and dull, and Mark for treating the public like they're morons, I just hope that the public see through him before it's too late.

Indeed the other guys are harmless really! As it looks like they can only save ONE, this leave 2 of the 3 of Ash, Marlon and Stevo to face the vote. And who ever is up out of them 3 will be in trouble and it is looking more and more like Steven is going to get saved.

The other boys are safe this week IMO as one of these 3 will be going!:smug:

Well, it's safe to say that not every teenager is a clone of what you 'were' at 18. I think it's great to have a different type of teenage girl in the house, we've had ample of the 'ditzy' fun-loving variety, over the years!

..I wish he was more entertaining because then I think he would get away with his arrogance more but he just comes across as just wanting to sit around and chill which isn't really the point of it...I will say though that with the personalities in there and their constant 'drama'/bitching/arguing etc..it's probably hard to fit much 'entertaining' into the HL show as well...I understand the reasoning of..'oh don't vote that housemate out because then it'll be boring' with the more volatile housemates but I think you also have to have less of those type of housemates to leave some time for the 'entertaining' as in fun entertaining not exhausting and endless arguments and nastiness...

..also I think this year more than any other year, it's kind of been disproved that voting the more 'drama' housemates out will 'end the show' because Pauline was voted out so then that left it for Toya to step up which she did..and then Toya was voted out which has left it for Ashleigh and she's coming into her own and I think it's how it'll be...one 'villian' goes and then along comes another etc..and I think it's only fair that we let them all have a chance.....

Pauline really wasn't a good Housemate to have in there for more than a week or two. She was SUCH a 'domineering' personality', plus the 'mother' role, she suppressed a lot of the other housemates thoughts and opinions. Hence the explosion after she left! So, i think a lot depends what 'type' of entertainment you lose vs what you can gain from a certain housemate staying or leaving.

I truly believe it would have been a bad thing for her to stay any longer. As a bit of a parallel, if you remember a few seasons ago..when there was 'Steve' in the wheelchair, older guy. Him staying right to the end basically screwed up that entire season, i believe. Even though he wasn't the 'extravert', and 'outspoken' and in peoples faces like Pauline..i reckon he really suppressed a lot of what went on that season, merely from his presence and 'father' role.

..yeah I agree about Pauine, I think she stifled people's personalities so the sooner she went the more we would see who the other housemates were, so getting her out early was always a good move I think..with Toya, although she was extremely annoying not letting anyone else talk etc, for me she was much more 'entertaining' and I could see the value of keeping her in up until she started to belittle and mock Marlon so personally and then I thought hmmm, this is not really 'entertainment' for me so I wasn't that upset that she went tbh...but you're right, that's how I see it as well..that 'entertaing' isn't just about what that housemate does/their behaviour but the effsct on what it brings out on others and the effect on the dynamics of the house and sometimes it just stifles the house and that's never good I don't think because it just means it's stifling the entertainment factor as well...

It matters not who's saved either way Helen will be one crony less come friday night as either Ash or Marlon are going this week as only one can be saved .

The Silent Matthew

Is anyone not seeing that Matthew is the one that should go. He is so 2 faced and all he does is moan about everyone behind their backs. He has not got the front to say it to their faces. He's a moaning bitching backstabber.
Let's hope next week the mishog Ashleigh will go, closely followed by another 2 facer Danielle!!

:cheer2:

Yes you do, I wonder what kind of edit she will get if Ash leaves?

Yeah, i wanted Toya to stay..simply because i liked her more than some of the others up (with her flaws). I was curious how she'd be this week (if she survived). But maybe she'd already 'run her race', too many enemy's, and quite possibly would've walked, anyways..i suspect.

I don't think she's jealous of Helen nobody in their right mind could be jealous of that piece of crap.
Ash up and gone I hope.

How is she so smart when Jale, Kim, and Helen said they would save Steven too. She's just compromising.

Because the others are saving him because they like him....Ashleigh saving him for tactical reasons...that makes her smarter.

She really should wake up herself and talk to the others more if she wants to feel part of the house.

Spite? She wants people that she doesn't like to be evicted, are people spiteful when they nominate too? What about the voting public?

Spoon 30-06-2014 02:56 PM

Clever, clever Ashleigh!

Danielle also did wonderfully well by using the info she gleaned during the etiquette lesson with Jale. Ash made horrible comments toward her and was unrepentant about it and showed no self-insight.
