I know plenty of people on this forum have been bullied and I bet those who have can see in Helen something spitefully familiar. She's a nightmare.

Helen was calling Ashleigh out on her plan to get Ash evicted, as far as I know and as far as we have been shown Helen has never individually tried to orchestrate another housemates eviction.

I don't disagree she is a nightmare and belittles people etc that was the point of this thread really.

I consider myself working class. I don't have a mouth like Helen and neither does anyone of my family. Having worked for the Tories, I can assure you that swearing is not the domain only of the working classes.

Once you shout like she does youve lost the argument ,thats why Ashleigh came out the best in the row ,she kept her cool ,but got across what she needed to

Maybe Helen hasn't tried to orchestrate someone's departure but if she had the brains for it, she'd probably have given it a go. But then, everything else she's done kind of makes up for it.

I think it was a spiteful thing to do, showing Ashleigh's comments to someone like Helen. BB knew what would happen. I'm not a fan of Ashleigh, but I feel she's been victimised.

I disagree that what Ashleigh was doing is bullying, bitching about a person you don't like with your friend isn't bullying

I've pointed out two ways of 'bullying' someone. The most honest and decent way is to approach the person you have a problem with and let them know it and (as the bully) deal with the consequences.

I also said neither is bullying

What they are both doing, is point scoring, at best. Nothing more.

Where are you attending University again? Law you're studying aren't you? If you have worked for the Tories as well, you are not working class. Are you taking the piss?

I don't think Helen is bullying Ashleigh but I do think she bullied Christopher and jale at the start. You may disagree with that but plenty of others agree with me

Adults calling relatively intelligent adults (by which I mean they are not mentally deficient) silly names is not bullying.

It is low brow, pathetic and point scoring.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Marsh. 09-07-2014 02:11 PM

Ashleigh got across what was needed? "**** off Helen" "Nawwwww....."

I'm astounded by her superior arguing skills.

Verbal 09-07-2014 02:11 PM

Also I have never said that swearing is the sole domain of the working classes. I said that it is for many, the only way they know how to express themselves and get their point across in an effective way.

It was bullying the way she had her gang cackling around her calling them names and isolating both jale and christopher

Marsh. 09-07-2014 02:20 PM

Now you know how we feel when you get your mod posse on us. :worry:

Was Helen at any point trying to intimidate these people and did she succeed? If so i'll agree with you. Also please provide examples, because I don't remember.

If not, it is just point scoring.

Oh verbal you watched the show same as me, if you didn't think it was bullying then, you're not going to change your mind because I waste my time going through it all again with you. Alot of people agreed with me, including BB who issued her a formal warning...............for bullying

I graduated with a First in Law from Cambridge. I got to Cambridge through through sheere bloody hard work, and yes I worked for the Tories, I work for the government now. And I grew up the child of working class parents in Newham, one of the poorest boroughs in the country. Who the hell do you think you are to tell me whether I'm working class or not.
