This year though, half the house has been up each time, so it would have changed the results quite a bit |
Just said this in another thread, the male numbers are top heavy and even when the ratio of 2:1 in favour of the women with the new housemates that has already been evened out.
I think it's a double whammy, woman generally don't like or get on with women, they are wired that way for some reason and so they will vote for each other in the house and rub each other up the wrong way and catty argue. The viewing public see this and of course at least 50% of the voters are women so it stands to reason on statistics that there is more chance of the women being voted out first. Not too sure what the answer is, but it still doesn't stop a woman winning. |

Problem is they cast guys who are either inoffensive or just kind of chilled/funny and they choose girls who are just going to be argumentative or get drunk and act like idiots. If they chose women with a head on their shoulders, this probably wouldn't have been a problem. Ashleigh is the only one in this series that fits that description.
|
The problem was the theme... Powerful, strong or hardfaced women are always going to be voted off. You have to be an inoffensive, boring, vacuous airhead to do well on BB if you're a girl today
|
The only strong female in there is Ashleigh and she's doing fine? All the boring, vacuous airheads have gone.
|
And the females only have themselves to blame
|
To be honest if Ash was up he'd likely go. If Steven was up he'd go.
Unfortunately the large group in the house have the numbers |
Plus looking at the nominations the girls are nominating each other, so it doesn't help their cause.
Although Danielle didn't nominate any girls in there hmm |
yep now it is with only 3 females left, if one goes next week then I'm done
|
Only 3 girls left?
Jesus do we only have 3 girls left now?
Why has Kim left? I am guessing she could have become pregnant!!! No joke. Is Steven going to walk? (I doubt it) |
Hopefully they are making arrangements for the re-installing of DANIELLE as we speak!
 |
They're all fit too.

Anyway, isn't it sexist to be counting in terms of gender? :p |

It's also a bit sexist to lose women one after another until you get the inevitable all-male-final and a male winner. This pretty much happens every single year and very few people bat an eyelid. On the other hand, remember the panic on here that set in when all the men were up for eviction a few weeks ago?. |
I reckon a lot of it is to do with the audience.. which a majority are females.. they're far more likely to vote a male contestant whose 'hunky' or whatever, than a women who seems slightly more egotistical or larger than life.. likewise, I know no men who'd vote.. whether to evict or save.. it seems a little unfair but who knows.. Zoe seems to be playing it well with the public!

She does have a banging body. I wish Bianca had stayed, if she could influence Helen and make her misbehave then shes gotta be a strong character lol what other girl is able to do that to Helen? |
they seriously need to chuck a girl back in, they should get Danielle or do a twist were the public gets to vote one of the previous evicted females back in. Wow 3 girls and we still have 4 weeks left. BB 14 had 3 girls left in the final week before the last eviction.

You have to blame the voting demographic on that, methinks! |

I said in another thread if we had had the same choices for eviction, and it had been vote to save, I really think we would have a female heavy house at this stage. |
