 I think it's silly to think that you can only have friendships with people of similar/same ages, Ashleigh's mature for her age and therefore probably doesn't acknowledge the age difference. As long as she feels comfortable enough to sit on his bed "bitching" then who are we to say it's creepy?

Chris in love with Ashleigh - that's given me the best laugh of the day - all he is doing is reiterating what Danielle, Biancca and Matthew told them about Pav

I wondered if Chris 'wants out'. Surely after all his BB experiences and insight shown in the DR, he must realise what the audience reaction will be ?

On the contrary. If Chris is "acting" of his own free will, then the reason he is going on and on about Pav so much is because he thinks he is saying what the public are thinking. Just like the diary room rants. It's a perfectly legitimate game plan, but it has backfired BIG TIME. He has completely misread the public thinking this time round. Not surprising after 3 ex housemates said what they did and Pav got booed to F last Friday. He shouldn't have put so much faith in the ex housemates and crowd.

I think Chris was concerned about Ashleigh as a friend and quite rightly confronted Pav - in a friendly way - about his creepy staring. Chris is aware Ashleigh has a boyfriend she's committed to, he even said that to Pav. The way I see it, Chris and Ashleigh are friends, nothing more.

What creepy staring is this? Chris admitted he had told everyone about it and nobody seemed to have noticed, even Ashleigh herself hadn't noticed, we as viewers haven't seen it either, so we can only take Chris's word for it. Pav acknowledged he found Ashleigh interesting, but when he realised what Chris was really saying was really taken aback.

I think all the hetero men fancy her a bit tbh. Winston does, Ash really really does (you can tell from how he's looking at her these days), as well as Pav and Chris.

Luckily for her she can't be labelled the new Noireen as she's got a boyfriend.

Daffodil 29-07-2014 11:51 AM

It is to Ashleigh's credit that she has stayed 100% loyal to her boyfriend. She is a wonderful role model for young girls (polar opposite of that thing in the papers who gave BJs to 21 men for free drinks.)

I'm glad you mentioned that, because I also thought Chris said nobody else seemed to have noticed Pav staring at Ashleigh - and that by her own self admission, Ashleigh also hadn't noticed! I've certainly not noticed any staring from Pav.

As a former Chris supporter myself, I think he behaved despicably towards Pav. He clearly has no evidence of this supposed 'staring', but has concocted the little scenario either owing to what the former housemates said, to what he personally feels towards Ashleigh, or a combination of both. I feel he needs to take stock of his own (very odd lately!) behaviour before pulling other housemates up on theirs.

alex_front2 29-07-2014 12:34 PM

I sort of feel sorry for Chris, too. He clearly is more than a bit fond of Ashleigh. The give away was during the compatibility task when he was paired with her. In the DR task when she said his best feature was his eyes as opposed to predictable 'personality'response, he couldn't hide his delight and happiness.

Chris has changed in my opinion I think hes part of cool gang and now just embrassed pav.Chris thinks he owns Ashleigh.TO me I think chris is 100% gay not bi.I can never see him hollering at a girl.

No he is not in love with her

This - no more no less. Why should every male in that house be in love with a spotty teenager is what I'm wondering. Blimey Chris kisses Christopher on the cheek last night does that mean he's in love with him now?????

And Matthew and Danielle had absolutely nothing to base this on as they are watching the same show as us and we haven't seen it

Chris was on the way to winning this......what a dick!

You have a good point. The way she behaves would make any guy over 20 perceive her as a child, with her fluffy toys and constant spot picking

Any bloke coming on to that in the house would look like a paedo

LukeB 29-07-2014 12:44 PM

why would ashleigh be interested in pav anyway

Ellen 29-07-2014 12:44 PM

I dont think he is in love with her, its more he is dependent on her and doesnt like her spending time with other when he is not there. I dont think he should have spoken to Pav unless Ashleigh had spoken about it and it was obvious she had not noticed anything. Chris does not like Pav and Danielle gave him the ammo to dislike him even more.

It was out of order of him to confront Pav. Ashleigh barely seemed bothered so he sbould have dropped it.

Quite a few people are saying they don't buy the bi thing and that he's one 100% into men.

What do you mean, it's to her credit ??

Not one bloke in that house would go near her

That would be like chatting up a child ergh

It also depends what you see as a role model....

I wouldnt like my kids to see a nasty two faced bitch whose too scared to criticise people to their faces and constantly talks behind peoples backs, as a role model, thanks

And being in a serious relationship from the age of sixteen is sickening.....young teenage girls need to live their lives free and having fun, not be sleeping with a boy at 16 with mammys permission

It's sickening and she's a trollop

fitz2k2 29-07-2014 12:49 PM

chris or pav to go this Friday hmmmm
