We're not talking about popularity or polls, we're talking about the stories in the show. Which she has certainly not been at the centre of.

If it weren't for Helen, she'd still be in the Pod. :joker:

Goldilocks did make me laugh on last nights show when she was impersonating Zoe's reaction to being nominated, Helen said "go on do it"

Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow!

Of course she has. She was responsible for challenging Helen's dominance in the house by manipulating the situation to ensure Ash was up, she was the centre of the Seance during the murder mystery. She inspired a campaign to save her and get Jale evicted. She is one of the few housemates left who never ever bent to Helen's will (despite some idiotic ideas from her detractors). She was very much in the running to be evicted by Pav and Zoe and survived by the skin of her teeth. She was voted the PH which led to further controversy just last week. She is now the person the current drama between Chris and Pav revovles around. Are you actually watching the show?

johnx 29-07-2014 06:46 PM

Completely age-ist as well.Remember her expressing disgust that anyone older than a certain age would have the audacity to attend a music festival. Then said she couldn't believe she's actually talking to someone over 30.Wants to live in some kind of a Logans Run world.

So basically she's not done anything, her relevance has come from other housemates and twitter campaigners outside of the house?

:joker: That says it all.

Who do you like btw?

Christopher is my favourite as it says under my name on the left.
Matthew was also a favourite of mine.

I like Chris although I didn't approve of his talk with Pav last night.

Disappointingly for me, I think the female housmeates this year have been really poor choices by Bb overall. As have most of the Male housemates too, to be quite frank.

If you mean, who do I like as to females, then I said ashleigh wasn't to me extra special as to looks, she is pretty and has a decent smile when she shows it but I like people to be attractive inside as well as out.
No one in there this series has been that for me as to the female side of the housemates.

I also don't see Ashleigh as confident and strong either,it is not strength and confidence that has you plot and condemn others behind their backs and not to their faces.

The show is about how housemates interact with each other. No housemate does anything on their own.

The most pretentious (and not actually very intelligent)

All of the men have been limp wristed bores. Especially your choices.

It's the game. You form alliances and use the issues you have with others to cement those. The strength she has shown has been in the face of the people she's been closest to leaving, plans backfiring, eviction crowds chanting to get her out, half the house being angry with her and her taking it all in her stride. Maybe you are incapable of putting yourself in that position.

Well, I see it all different to you.
I would rather support people I could feel I could trust rather than people who are totally false and I am pleased I go down that route too.

You don't have to. But your arguments against her remain absurd. And to call her dull whilst supporting the likes of Christopher... What can I say?

How is Ashleigh totally false? She's never lied to the people she's been closest to in the house. Only towards the end did she begin to distrust Danielle I think, and that was warranted as Danielle was clearly a fraud who had lied to her for 7 weeks.

That's right, they don't. But most housemates contribute something to the mix. Ashleigh does nothing. She's liked for being Helen's enemy, that's it. Nothing to do with Ashleigh as a person/housemate. Kind of says it all.

When the most you can come up with in support of Ashleigh is "she's not Helen" and "twitter had a campaign" then, no, you haven't won the argument.

She is false in her 2 faced dealings with people, something she has done a great deal of, not just sometimes.

You possibly have a selective memory, by and large Danielle did stick with Ashleigh a lot of the time,it seems however Ashleigh now is quite happy for Danielle to be 'got at' in her absence.

Some friend and more evidence of a false nature too.

Of course she won't have lied to those closest but she did manipulate them in order to win support to ostracise Ash but only really to get at Helen.
That is dealing falsely with people in reality likely too.
