Benji_ 01-08-2014 10:24 PM

She's topping the polls with over 50% on some websites and I like her but the housemates this year really aren't that great if Ashleigh is the fave:(

Yes, I like Ashleigh but by the way some people go on you would think that she's one of the top 5 Housemates ever and I don't think she is personally.

I think the group of Helen, Ash and Winston is the strongest in the house and the funniest, they are actually still having fun while everyone else is conniving

I would love them to be the final 3 but cant see it happening which is a shame!

??? When?

bbfan1991 01-08-2014 11:41 PM

Ashleigh has really had an impact, she's marmite and hasn't sat on the fence. She's contributed a lot to the series from what i've seen or read (didn't see a few weeks).

Sophiee 02-08-2014 12:58 AM

no, she's the best of a bad bunch who deserves the support.

M X 02-08-2014 01:00 AM

No. I think she's a great housemate.

CertifiedPoster 02-08-2014 01:07 AM

Used to really like her but lately she's been p!$$!ng me off. Boring, bitchy and sucking up to Helen too much. Hopefully she gets better from now on but I doubt it.

It's been a really poor series tbh

Brother Leon 02-08-2014 01:09 AM

Incredibly. But I think people were just desperate for someone to support from the Anti Helen group I suppose.

Robodog 02-08-2014 01:10 AM

I quite like her but she is made out to be more than she actually is

Example - people say she 'stood up to Helen'. She didn't really. She bitched about Helen for weeks with Danielle behind Helen's back. But when Helen confronted Ashleigh in the garden, Ashleigh just kinda rolled her eyes and melted into silence.

She's an ok enough girl but she is no way 'the most interesting' as voted last week, no way.

Did you actually expect her to get in a screaming match with Helen? If you bring yourself down to Helen's level, you lose. Instead Ashleigh launched a calculated attack against her partner in crime and didn't stoop down to Helen's level when she started screaming in her face, so she deserves credit for that.

just an OK/'good' housemate in a terrible lineup, really

I'd go so far as to say that Maisy from BB12 would've been equally appreciated in this lineup

Cold Sweat 02-08-2014 01:31 AM

Underrated and underused.

What was her role in the shopping task this week, exactly – other than reading out the result? Maybe they showed something of her but I blinked…

No push for Ashleigh from BB imo.

erinp5 02-08-2014 01:34 AM

No ,she is one of the two females left in the house but the only one who has faced the public vote and survived .
Helen has had a free pass ,nomination free every week, never faced the public vote and could always nominate but never be nominated .
Well done Ashleigh ..all done on your own merit.

You should watch the uploads and not just watch the edited highlights.

The 2 people doing all the talking there are Helen and Ashleigh. Helen was backed by her hounds Kimberly and Jale, who very quickly melted into silence, as you put it. Danielle, Ashleigh's "friend" said F all. The rest of housemates stood around doing F all.
Ashleigh stood up to Helen even when Helen has her hounds with her.
Ashleigh would slay Helen 1v1 and that's why Helen never said anything to Ashleigh before then. "She's only 18 was the excuse she used"

No i never said or expected her to have a screaming match with Helen, i was just responding to the fact that many many people say Ashleigh 'stood up to Helen' when she didn't. She never screamed back at her but neither did she talk to Helen calmly or directly - just bitched about Helen for weeks with Danielle.

But you are right - she did launch a calculated attack against Helen and she did it by the back door - but that's not 'standing up to Helen' which is what many people on forums, BOTS etc keep saying Ashleigh did.

Robodog 02-08-2014 01:43 AM

I do like Ashleigh though, don't get me wrong

Yeah but the only thing is that trying to talk to Helen calmly and directly assumes many things (that many other HMs have problems with her behavior, that she's rational, that she's able to take constructive criticism and change her behavior accordingly, etc.) which are all untrue. There's really no way to stand up to Helen without compromising your social standing in the house. Her pass to the give made her the center of power and the only girls she's interested in are ones who are willing to be her beta or lick her ass (Jale and Kimberly winded up succumbing to this.)

Dollface 02-08-2014 03:12 AM

Matthew went way too soon! He was my winner tbh :(
But out of the housemates that remain, Ashleigh is one of my favourites, mostly due to her love for animals (i read that she is a fundraiser for animal charities) & I feel that she would use the prize money wisely. Although she has her bitchy moments, i think deep down she is a really kind girl. & IMO she's been interesting to watch, and funny.

Yes she is.

She is great but people are started to over-rate her.

the truth 02-08-2014 06:53 AM

over rated....smart for her age, not enetrtaining or funny, not very likeable ,but pretty unpleasant most of the time
