So actually I fully agree with Chris and he has a right to make that decision.

Do I think all the other HMs would share equally that money? No. And Im not gonna have an opinion based just on the words that directly leave their mouth over it. Do I understand why they got mad? Of course. But how they presented themselves once again was as nasty individuals whom pick and choose who they have a problem with and are completely ignorant and unaware.

So forgetting that your basing your decision on your beliefs rather than face value of what they said. Your choosing to disbelieve the others would share but believing Chris would?? WHY exactly??

Also Im not gonna lie Id have taken it if offered but Id have owned my decision and admitted to it, not lied like a snivelling little coward then watch as an argument kicks off then pretend to be all high and mighty about it.

Chris is a bellend.

What other way can we judge them if not from what they say and do on the highlights?

I guess we will have to agree to disagree because I don't think the same way as you in regards to any of it and I have been a fan of Chris all along but tonight turned me off him in regards to how sneaky he was and how he lied about his intentions and was willing to sit back and watch Christopher take **** for defending him when all the while we knew and he knew he had already said he wouldn't be sharing the money with all of the housemates.

I dont actually care who would share and who would not but they are behaving in a way to suggest that they havnt had a similar thought process as Chris... i.e. thinking about not living up to the so-called 'pack'. Chris was very honest tonight and they all know its crossed their minds if they won it.

And I think Chris would share with Ashleigh and Christopher. Like I think Ash would share with Helen and Winson. Not too sure if Mark would share with anybody after watching him tonight. The only cowards tonight were Ash and Mark for sitting quiet whilst Chris got grilled about the exact same decision they made.

MrWong 07-08-2014 10:49 PM

I'm struggling to see the difference between the 3 hm's.

They all chose to remove money from the fund even though there was no need to remove it.

They could have left it, with no consequences, like the others did

BigSister 07-08-2014 10:51 PM

I think Mark has got away with everything. Ash did say he would take it to share and I believe him and Chris although he was in the wrong did say only sharing with Ashleigh and Christopher. All 3 however were in the wrong and Chris didn't deserve the tongue lashing he got. I do think however he will go tomorrow along with Mark.

Lstan 07-08-2014 10:54 PM

hold on can someone clarify something for me-i know they had a go at chris but didnt mark say he wanted to take the money for himself for his brow bar? or did i mishear? thanks!

He said it.

He's just not admitting that he said it.

Again your basing that on YOUR opinion not the evidence available. Ash at no point has hinted he wouldnt share the money equally your just deciding that to justify your defense of Chris.

Mark is not defendable, hes as bad as Chris. But Ash never once said he was tempted to keep it or he wouldnt give certain people money. Hes guilty of lacking the trust to believe others would split it equally thats it. If you choose to believe (contrary to all evidence) that hes lying then fine. But know that it is indeed contrary to all evidence.

Where as Chris had about 3 or 4 versions of why he made the decision to take the money. At first he never mentioned the others at all and said he was doing it to prove a point.

Your blind to his lies purely cause Helen argued with him, he was caught out as a manipulative liar and then tried to grandstand in the DR at the end to the public (funny that after being told we all loved his DR rants by his friend yesterday)

pet peeve on the forum - when people hark for evidence

I could be wrong. But you could also be wrong and you based your opinion completely on what is said only.

I look beyond that. Its all about trying to understand the HMs different personalities and the situations BB creates. EVERYBODY in that house would have had the thought of keeping the money all themselves because thats a thought process the situation would create (cost-benefit analysis whether to split or not).

tbh I would say there is probably a good chance Chris would have shared the money with everybody anyway purely because of the pressure theyd all give him (especially Helen) after the show and hes the type of guy who looks for an 'easy life' from what Ive observed.

ty bb! yeah i was wondering about the threads on here because from what i have seen no ones mentioned mark again? lemme check.

edit: people are mentioning mark being quiet and letting chris take all the flack, no ones mentioned how he wanted to keep the money for himself.

Tarryn 07-08-2014 11:28 PM

I loved both of these tonight but going by BB viewers in previous years it's probably curtains for them now.
Mark was the most guilty of the three as he already had won money.
I just can't stand the little twat.

It was mostly mentioned in the highlights thread and the BOTS thread.

I actually missed the comment whilst watching highlights and only realised when on the BOTS thread.

Not really, Chris was exposed as a liar and Christopher was defending Chris' lies.

So Mark never lied did he (?).
He just sat there with 5 grand in his pocket & told no one he would take yet more money.

MarcusMel 07-08-2014 11:57 PM

Not that Ash or Helen care that 10,000 of it vanished leaving Chris open to public vote and eviction. Not like they took time to show sorrow and regret at his plight of no extra money and being up for eviction when he might not have been.

Did they really take time to find out how he felt about the agreement. What would it have looked like and how would they have behaved if he had refused to put his hand to the 'pact'

Did Chris look like he cared if he had the money or was he really just making a 'point' at how dreadful its been living with the cool gang?

Mark was just as bad as Chris, but the thread isn't about him.

Amy Jade 08-08-2014 12:17 AM

Chris was totally exposed tonight for the lying snake I have always expected him to be. There is no escaping the fact he is not a man of his word because by his own admission he would not share with Helen, Ash, Pav, Winston or Mark.

He is horrible deceitful cretin and for all the things he has called Helen in the past at least she stands by her word, Chris acts like he is a pillar in there and most of the other housemates are beneath him but the truth is he is a liar and a creep.

And as for Christopher with his kinda erratic behaviour the past couple of nights and his relationship with Mark that people would probably be put off him. However tonight they completely smashed the episode showing Mark and Ash up as cowards who hid silently whilst Chris took all the heat and they took down Helen who was just left there harking on and on. Winston also came off bad showing himself as selfish and an idiot once more when he tried giving Chris lip over his decision but not Ash or Mark.

Im definitely sensing a BB13 finale vibe with Ashleigh/Chris/Christopher as Top 3 similar to Luke A/Adam/Deana.

As the only genuinely nice person in the house, Christopher needed no redemption and was always in the race!
...And how can you not see that tonight killed off whatever was left of Chris' chances of winning the show?....there's no two ways about it, he showed himself not only to be the type of greedy money-grabbing game player that he has so often professed to despise...but also a cowardly liar that shows hidden aggression when confronted and is perfectly happy to melt into the background whilst a well meaning dupe [Christopher] takes most of the flack while courageously tries to defend him!! [erroneously ,..but he wasn't to know that was he? so kudos for Christopher's loyalty to the sly-fox that he thinks is his friend!]

....Also...imho, the only other person to come out of tonight's programme in a good light, was Ash...because I believe that out of the three 'money-grabbers' , his were the only altruistic motives!

....So well done Christopher and Ash! ...I hope you finish up 1 and 2 in this years race!

Lwize 08-08-2014 12:19 AM

Chris was clearly in the right over this greedy nonsense.
The pact was a joke, and now irrelevant.
Hopefully, justice will be served tomorrow with Mark's eviction.

He didn't need to take the money. He could have left it in the prize fund like Helen, Winston, Christopher and Pav did. He wanted the money, just like Mark and Chris did and chose to remove it from the prize fund.

Also, that thieving arsehole can't even be trusted to share out the alcohol, nevermind 15k.

You simply have no proof to back up this accusation MrWong, and are just showing that you are all too willing to besmirch the character and good name of any house mate that doesn't fall into the category of whatever makes a contestant your current favourite!
...You do this time and time again, and never post anything that remotely resembles "proof" of your assertions!...Because you can't can you?...because Ash was the one out of the three that didn't try to explain , or excuse his greed away!....No he didn't...in fact he stated that he would "share ALL of the money with ALL of the house mates"
...And so your opinion of Ash being a "thieving arsehole can't even be trusted to share out the alcohol, nevermind 15k." is basically groundless, ...isn't it! :smug:

It's not all about me love. :D

The proof was on the show. Ash removed the money from the prize fund.

It's also been shown on numerous occasions that he thieves the wine.

Groundless my arse :joker:

Never mind "Groundless my arse" :joker: ....stop squirming and show us the proof that Ash was lying about sharing the money....or admit that you are just talking bollocks! :spin:
