Somewhere online might have whipped up odds for "next" after Mark left, but it would have been a small window and you wouldn't have found 66/1. Although he'd probably still have been a massive outsider... Pav likely going odds on.

No it was his odds the week he was up

Most talked about housemate, best entertainment, argumentative, honest, and EVERY housemate knows where they stand with Helen!

I no i no she's not the nicest or the easiest housemate to like etc:laugh:, but i watch BB for entertainment and drama and will vote for Helen to win.

She's far from an angel but has been a great housemate:cheer2:

Yep :wavey: if she thought she was an angel she would be blind and stupid :hehe: but these days the public don't want a controversial housemate to win? they want someone who bitches behind backs and whispers little comments under their breathe? Helen and Ashleigh are not that different but one is loved and one isn't:shrug:

Yes, the week of the double eviction, the odds were for next eviction, Winston 66/1, Mark 1/8. Mark was the next eviction, a bet on Winston would have been a loser. He was evicted THAT NIGHT, but he was not the next eviction. Trust me, you wouldn't have been paid out on that 66/1.

In other news... **** it, I've just stuck £10 on Helen at 32/1 (BetFred introductory offer double odds, 16/1). £330? Screw you Ashleigh... HELEN TO WIN!! :joker:

No ,sorry you're wrong

Can you imagine if Helen wins, thinking the public hate her and then she's crowned the winner?

She's pretty much the only one in there who doesn't expect to win. The others have suspected they might for days/weeks.

I am 100% not wrong, every set of eviction odds have been either for "next eviction" or numbered (e.g. 9th eviction). I can't remember the number of this eviction but let's ay it was eviction 9 and 10...

You would have been getting Winston 66/1 for either "Next Eviction" or "9th eviction", while Mark was still in the running at a massive odds on (which is what will have pushed Winston's odds out so far).

Mark was out first on the night, making him the NEXT eviction at those odds, and also the 9TH eviction overall... those are the only two markets you would have been betting on.

Winston was NOT NEXT, and he was 10TH not 9TH.

I settle over 400 bets a day. Your bet is a loser sir, get out of my shop :joker:

She deserves people's votes, just for that point alone!

No no no, she deserves peoples votes because Toy Soldier wants £330. Spread the word.

Samm 12-08-2014 10:56 AM

Helen won't win yes she might move out of the 5th place and become 4th/3rd instead, but Ashleigh & Christopher have both got massive support that are 2x the size of Helen's

The bookies are notoriously bad at predicting BB winners, so Ashleigh currently being favourite can be taken with a pinch of salt. ;)

I would say Helen, Christopher and Ashleigh are all in with a chance.

Chris, Ash and Pav very unlikely though.

How do odds even work?

They depend largely on the amount of money being placed on the individual to win.
