Yes, she did.
They had a montage of her life after surviving the sinking with all the photographs of her doing the things Jack said he'd do with her (horse riding / rollercoasters etc) and then they had the heaven/purgatory symbolism with the end sequence when she's reunited with him. Kate Winslet. |
Yes she did, she went to heaven (or her version of it at least) at the end
|
Oh yes... it is the anniversary. It's also the anniversary of the liberation of Belsen... so you win some, you lose some.
|
Yes, I've never been confused by the ending ever, I think it's pretty straight foward. I've always looked at it the way Marsh said just above ^

She has a cracking pair of tits no doubt about it.

Why was Titanic her heaven though? Surely there were events in her life that bore more significance to her as a human being than the five days she spent on a boat? Like I know she loved Jack and everything - but what about the husband she had for the rest of her life? Was he not important to her?

No she was alive, the sequence at the end was her looking back at her old photos and daydreaming about a fantasy of her being back where she was at her happiest.
Also I'm glad she dropped the Heart of the Ocean, because how else would the diver had wooed Britney in Oops...I did it again? |
