You wouldn't do it either. But you don't think it's disgusting.
The beauty of perception.

The beauty of perception? no it's called being open minded and not looking down on people.. just because i wouldn't personally do it. doesn't mean that i should think people who do are disgusting people, that's not how my mind works

Lostie! 17-08-2014 05:59 PM

Her entire attitude. She just seemed to be a very unpleasant, shallow and immature person, acting like you'd expect the nasty girl at school to behave.

That's what that group (Helen, Ash, Tamara, Pauline, Steven especially) reminded me of, the mean clique at school who mock the "uncool" kids for no reason, not even trying to make an effort with them.

As soon as the Day 2 housemates arrived, she and Tamara were off to the toilet to brand Jale a "slug" and share how much they "hate" Chris. How was this not a horribly shallow judgement? It's seriously embarrassing that a 27 year old woman would act like that. But that wasn't enough for Helen, so she progressed onto targeting Jale in front of people for nothing.

Then there's the time that little gang mocked Christopher with "Boring! Booooring!" taunts when he was walking out of the room.

Not to mention how aggressive she got for very little reason. I mean, anyone who flies off the handle as badly as she did because someone whispers a comment about Truth or Dare needs to speak to someone.

As far as I'm concerned, Helen and certain others in there were definitely bullies, bullies who didn't seem to have mentally left high school.

Are you like 5? I was suggesting we agree to disagree?
Why so aggressive?

Also I am TOTALLY open minded to maybe allowing sex on TV. I SAID Kim was a disgusting person for LYING about a miscarriage for money.
THAT IS TOTALLY DISGUSTING AND INEXCUSABLE!

Agressive? oh lord, here we go
I'm not being aggressive in the slightest :joker:
We can agree to disagree though, CBB starts tomorrow and who knows, we might end up supporting the same person..

Who the hell lies about having a miscarriage to get in papers!!?? :conf:

You can tell the quality of a girl by the man she chooses to be with. Just look at the mess that is called Steven. Enough said.

What has Helen said to make her a vile human being? Do you seriously think anyone would attempt to answer that in full - it would take hours to write the saga of Helen's vileness in the house alone - not to mention the vile tweets of 5 years and 2 years ago respectively that have been posted on this forum.
But as for her time in the house - her vileness cannot possibly be expressed in words. For those that think she's an ace human being and the bestest winner ever, maybe it would be a good idea to go back over the many videos posted in the utube feed thread with Helen in the title and see for yourself how vile she is. I could watch a video a day for months showing examples of her vileness, but I don't need reminded of it, I already know.
But maybe those with short memories would benefit from the exercise.

A fine summary Lostie..:cheer2:

It's worth noting that Zoe was evicted for one comment about Tesco employees, and then Helen spends the summer spitting venom and wins.

Also, remembering that Helen was an alternate for BB13 makes so much sense when you realize that her group is pretty much the Insiders with a lot more power.

I can fully understand how it is possible to come to that view point. However her behaviour has to be judged in context. By that I mean the general mood of the house, the behaviour of others in the house and how they all interacted given the mental pressure being heaved on them by BB.

My own opinion is that none came out of it smelling of roses. However, I did try to look at their characters overall, and not just focus on one aspect to the exclusion of all others. Taking those other aspects of character into account, for me, and that is a very personal me I know, I felt Helen had more endearing qualities than any other housemate in there. Maybe others saw some of these things too, and that's why Helen ended up, a very marginal winner.

Okay but in context, the general mood of the house was brought down tremendously by Helen

Technically it was brought down by Pauline IMO. Her 2 week chicken reign dragged everyone down and then Toya, Helen, Ashleigh, Danielle just held it down in the weeks following right through to the final.

It normal... in all group situations there is an 'ingroup' and an 'outgroup', it's just groupthink.

the truth 18-08-2014 03:45 AM

sadly it comes down to sexism again...female housemates know how sexist the show is and how the women can pretty much be as vile and abusive as they like and will never get booted from the house and will end up getting the attention and winning like helen or denise welch......pauline was horrific, toyah the same, helen horrific, ashleigh unpleasant, danielle unpleasant and fake....endless line of unpleasant women in the house of the years from the awful jade and her pack of witches, remember caroline the posh horror of a human, yet another unaccountable vile bully

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"EDIT:-
NOTE:- CORRECTION ALERT:- It says in the above Daily Mail article that Kimberly Kisselovich had an Ectopic Pregnancy
and a Miscarriage, and I reported this in good faith in several posts both in this Why Kimberly Left The House Thread -
http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...=259664&page=4

and the Kimberly Was Pregnant And Miscarried Thread -
http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...=260306&page=3

Now whether it is a case of sensationalizing (in order to sell the Daily Mail) or a genuine mistake,I do not know.BUT,Kimberly
Kisselovich DID NOT HAVE A MISCARRIAGE.
Kimberly Kisselovich and Steven Goode are featured in the newly published OK Magazine,Issue 942,August 12,2014,and there
is NO mention of a miscarriage - It just states that Kimberly had an Ectopic Pregnancy. I QUOTE "Ectopic pregnancies either
resolve themselves where everything gets absorbed by the tissue,or Kimberly might have to have keyhole surgery. They're
acutely monitoring her but they might potentially have to remove the egg."

I'm giving both Kimberly and Steven - Steverly - the benefit of the doubt in regard to Kimberly's Ectopic Pregnancy - if its
genuine they have every right to sell their story to the media,as do other people when they lose children.

Kimberly and Steven are in love with each other, but if I turn out to be wrong about this, and about the Ectopic Pregnancy, well,
I can take it and That's Life,as sung by Frank Sinatra!

Did you not watch BB15?

joeysteele 18-08-2014 10:07 AM

I can think of many things and I would think Helen herself could too as to how wrong she was at times and also extremely unpleasant.

That is all very different from being eligible to be cast as a 'vile' human being, that term is an extreme term and didn't apply to any housemates this series or likely any other.

So no matter what,I saw nothing at all whatsover from any of them and equally so Helen, to warrant the description of being a 'vile. human being.
For me that is really possibly being over the top.
