Probably because she's the most high profile housemate who has also managed to lose the association. Not many people would describe her as a former housemate.

BB3 was the most-watched series, so that has a lot to do with so many of the housemates getting media careers later.

Reality shows were still quite a recent development then, also, so there wasn't hundreds of ex-contestants competing for opportunities.
