Agree totally with this! Didn't like his reaction but then yeah, I don't think he meant it to be arrogant. It is a fact!

Gary was right when he told Leslie to try to win and not to bring people down (words to that effect). Had Leslie been fair in the advertising game and put the right people forward instead of trying to make waves for those he doesnt like, they may have won that task. Well said Gary you had the right to tell him, they all love telling you.

Does every girl on here like Disney and Mean Girls? You're not the first person on here I've met that does! LMAO

I haven't actually seen the scene yet but I agree, it sounds like Leslie ruined the result of the task all for the sake of being childish and spiteful!

I have to say I had never heard of Gary (or most of them) but I do know who Audley is.

I am well into my films - loads of 70s action flicks and all that - and i really enjoyed Mean Girls !

Clueless is a good girly high school movie as well !

Glad to hear even an action movie buff can appreciate Mean Girls! :D I'll let my boyfriend know this... and maybe also remind him Rachel McAdams and pre-surgery Lindsay Lohan are the main characters!

And I must admit I've never seen Clueless which I think is a bit of a sin in the chick flick world.. So ssh!

I haven't heard of a single person in the house apart from Gary and I've never heard of any of the shows they're from - perhaps that's because I have no interest in sport, reality TV or whatever else these people are from, and my main passion is film - but it was a stupid decision of Leslie's and once again just showed his vindictive side.

youve missed out on a whole lot of good movies

Love the whole 'point break' bit in Hot Fuzz

Leslie is jealous of Gary plain and simple

flamingGalah! 26-08-2014 03:19 PM

I'd never heard of Gary, though I did recognise him when I saw him. I wouldn't say he was a "huge" film star... I think I have seen the most famous films he has been in...

Leslie most probably said it to wind him up, but maybe he was thinking that Audley would be more famous than Gary in the UK?

CaudleHalbard 26-08-2014 03:32 PM

Gary is not in the Brad Pitt league! :D

Gary's one of my favorites, but I wish he'd just brushed it off, instead of proclaiming how he's "internationally famous". That said, I don't think he intended any arrogance.

N'ah, that was funny.

It's great viewing watching celebrities react when someone gives them a knock to their ego.

Gary's reaction was the funniest part of last nights show.
