male suicides are at record high levels, at nearly 5 times the rate of women the number of charities and support isntitutions for women outnumbers men by over 50 to 1 in the UK billions more is spent onn female support and female health including female cancer men lose their kids in nearly 90% of UK divorce cases men lose their homes in over 80% of UK divorce cases in over 80% men lose their home and their kids and still have to pay for their ex partners to live in their ex homes men die young in the UK by 4 to 5 years younger than women on average men lose their jobs simply for being accused of something rather than being found guilty all men are banned in some cases from working with disabled female kids men make up less than 5% of infant school teachers over 50% of young boys are NOt brought up by their father men can be accused by any woman of any sexual crime and regardless if theyre 100% guilty, the man gets named and shamed, the woman remains anonymous, even if its a pack of lies in some towns and cities men are barred from running for election, its women only. hows that for democracy? yet its illegal to have male only clubs , yet female only cities are fine? on tv women slag men all day every day, all men are bastards etc ive even seen one vile show where sharon osbourne interviewed female inmates whod all murdered their partners. osborune told them they were right to do so, they all cheered and laughed...on another espide she laughed and cheered after a man had his testicles sliced off in his sleep. not sure if he died. who caares hes a man, we didnt want to ruin her joke ...its all just a bit of fun right? un;less a man says it, then hes a vile nasty sexist pig yet men get fired for saying 1 joke about a female lineswoman? men who have been football pundits for 25 years and been involved at the top of football for 40 years? double standards? oh yes when a famous man has an affair now, the woman is the victim of this aggressive controlling sex pest man who manipulated the innocent harmless babe? this is the language used and the manipulation used. men cant have an opinion on any of this or they be branded sexist. just as people cant have an opinion on immigration without being branded racist? where does this bias in law and in culture get us? check out rotherham in hospitals how often do nurses joke to male patients, if you men had to go through the pain we women do? the joke is repeated endlessly to the point its not a joke and you wonder if these nurses really mean it? judging by the male bashing all over this sexist country and the cruelty and corruption in the nhs wards, id say its healthy to be very cynical. women have played the sexist mysoginistcard way too many times and cried wolf too many times even outside the UK on the world stage. domicin strauss khan the head of the international monetary fund, the biggest economic forum on the planet. a man of phenomenal intellect, qualification, success and experience. was sacked for allegations made...he was replaced by a womens libber.christine laggard... he was later found innocent but never got his job back she is now accues of corruption, yet she keeps her job too much info? yeah white men have got it all. except at any given moment they can lose their entire lives, homes, kids, reputation, future, past, income, respect in a split second on a pack of lies yeah they sure do rule the world men women whatever, are just as good or bad as each other in their own different ways....the path weve taken down political correctness is a path to armageddon. time to redress the balance. |

And I said with BB15 that the only cases where people tried to make an effort with the bigger group but kept being shuned was Ashleigh and Christopher, as let's face it Jale, Chris, and Pav certainly didn't want to lose the victim status did they lol. |

Do you realize how silly it is to be a Helen fan but get up in arms about "bullying" in other shows at the same time? :joker: you can't make this stuff up.

Thanks for the advice though. |

Oh and at least Helen was relevant in her series unlike Victoria in BB16USA who's only claim to fame is taking the cap of Zach and maliciously slashing it up.

I'm in Gary's corner 100%, but so far I don't feel what he is being subjected to has reached the level of "bullying".... YET...
But what we are seeing in how he is treated are all the prerequisite behaviors that LEAD to bullying on a more serious scale. In ways, the other housemates are "testing the waters" to see how much Gary is willing to take... and as time goes on, their behavior becomes worse after realizing he accepts most criticism and truly does try to work on things. He actually handles himself quite well, and that is yet another thing that bothers the other housemates. They're failing to get under his skin as much as they'd like to. That's why tempers are escalating. They want him to be more bothered by what they have to say about him and how they treat him, but for the most part he's just not biting. There's a quiet strength about him that is truly admirable. One can see that he does get a bit hurt by people's comments... especially when we see him alone and can tell that he is reflecting on things with a bit of regret. Right now, Stephanie and James stand out as the two biggest potential bullies. Stephanie's behavior and treatment of Gary is disgusting and shameful. I know this couldn't be done without someone getting in serious trouble on the show, but when she was standing over Gary, screaming about how terrible and disgusting she thinks he is, I wished someone would have stood up and slapped her sharply across the face. She is an absolute abomination. If George continues to "like" her after this, it says a lot about his character (or lack thereof) as well. If I were romantically interested in someone and saw them treat another person like that, the romantic feelings would fade and I'd be ashamed for ever having them. So, no, what we are seeing is not technically bullying... but it is edging closer and closer as time goes on. And whether you call it bullying or not, one thing is certain. The behavior is UNACCEPTABLE. |

..I've bolded some of your post because those very things have been happening in the house with Gary..?...George who likes James observed how condescending/patronising he is...Kellie only seems to have two emotions..aggression/anger or tears/self pity...Leslie can be a viper and spiteful and gets very personal at times...Frenchie upset them all with the food thing and has caused broken sleep as have some of the others...they're all annoying..?..they're all irritating..?..they probably would all want to make you scream at times..?...but Gary's hearing impairment aside and his age aside so it can't be said...oh why should we make allowances for him/he shouldn't be there/why should he be special...well he is 'special'..he's special because he's the only 'annoying/irritaing' housemate that they are ridiculing, mocking, insulting and treating differently to anyone else....so is that 'bullying'..?...just because his responses are..oh yeah, I'll learn from that/interesting/I'll try to work on that/thank you for pointing it out...he's had his beliefs laughed at, he's had his parenting questioned, he's had his hygiene insulted, he's had his hearing impairment dismissed as an annoyance that they have to repeat themselves several times....has anyone else had their flaws, their failings or any other perceived negativity about them so painfully, cruelly, openly and brutally pointed out....he definitely gets 'special' treatment for sure....and in my opinion he is definitely 'singled out' for that special treatment in a way that no other housemate is despite their obvious failings/annoyances/irritations....other housemates may have had things about them picked up on/confronted about..even been insulted ... but not in such a consistent and persistent way as he has... |
