Third year was my favourite year of Uni :flutter: but then I'm just a massive nerd for my course, hence I am carrying on with a Masters from October :umm2:

5 months ****! It drives me insane now. Spent almost a year before uni doing absolutely nothing practically and it was easy. Now I can't last a month like that.

Was the opposite for me, three days first half, two days second. Think it's only two days all year now :worship:

I think I've been pretty lucky to work throughout summer. It's been a mixture of 2 and 3 days per week so it means I can get some other stuff done too. But yeah, I finished first week in April and don't so back to 22 September. It's been a long summer but I'm excited for second year! I'm in Monday and Friday and will be working Wednesday and Thursday so I have Tuesday off which is nice.

Wow. I thought end of May was early :p

Been working for my Grandad during the summer which is nice, but I'm so far away from friends here I've seen them like three times in three months. Stark contrast from practically 24/7 social activity at uni. Lucky enough to be able to stay in halls for all three years.

Jords 03-09-2014 10:25 PM

I had more fun in my Second Year than I did my First Year and got better grades! :pipe:

Im looking forward to my last year but gonna miss university so much, way more than secondary school and sixth form.

I'm starting on the 16th, I cannot wait :amazed: but I'm a little nervous obviously, but I'm staying at home so not as nervous as I would be if moving away (although I kind of wish I was moving away)

I'm studying communication and media
chose it because in my second year I can study abroad in new york for a semester for free  and I love media too obviously

I'd like to be a teacher or work in tv/film yeah so bring it on

I love my university. It's a big college here in the states. Only problem is that the neighborhood isn't vibrant because it's getting a facelift and I have to get up at 6 AM to get to a 8 AM class.

I applied for Bournemouth this year actually, along with London University of Arts, University of Creative Arts, De Montfort and Nottingham Trent.

I never replied to any of their conditional offers since I thought it would be beneficial to spend my gap year really thinking about it. I'm starting to like the look of Oxford Brookes right now.

I had no idea you could go to New York for a year at Bournemouth?!

Samuel. 12-09-2014 06:52 PM

I've never been more excited about something in my entire life tbh. Feel like life has been on pause for the last 4 months. Ready to hit play again :dazzler:
