Font is weird for me now as well
|
At least I know this (hopefully) wasn't my computer's fault I guess.
|
I found a fix! :cheer2:
copy and paste this into the url: chrome://flags/ (and load it as if it is a url) Then find: Disable DirectWrite and click enable just underneath it. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "relaunch browser" tab. Then after the browser has relaunched close it completely then when you open it and come back to tibb it will be sorted. |

I edited my post above. |
It's because of the update to Chrome 37:

Quite a few complaints about it. Not sure if I can / should do anything about it here. How to Disable DirectWrite in Google Chrome > Version 37: http://www.mydigitallife.info/disabl...me-version-37/ Windows font size: http://www.wintuts.com/How-to-change-font-size |

oh for **** sake
the link works, but there's no 'disable Directwrite' why me? |
i have a macbook, will that be the reason why?
|
anyone know what the equivalent is for a mac?
getting so pissed off now |
Try this:
chrome://flags/#enable-direct-write |
Ive had no probs
|
no
thanks tho, Lily |
According to the stuff I've found Caitlin, this only applies to the Windows version, so I don't know what they've changed in the Mac version.
|
okay, going to just kill myself now
|
thanks again though!
|
Np... if I find anything useful I'll let you know.. :)
|
just to make it more clear that the issue is...
I used to be able to go into a thread, read everything and then click the 'new posts' button and the thread I had read already would not be in bold. but not matter what I do, it's all still in bold Spoiler: you can't tell what thread i've been to here... but i tested it on the sooty one. |
James, can you help?
